I was very impressed by the Hotel and its management. They are very friendly and hospitable. I could nag about the WiFi policy(free for 12 hours and pay for more) but I guess it is reasonable in Germany. The hotel is very clean and extremely secure. Would definitely recommend this place. Not sure about the prices though was there for just a weekend!!..Enjoy Berlin

The breakfast isn't worth the five Euro (just buy some food at the grocery stores in the area and use the kitchen downstairs) and the shower is a bit cramped for a 6ft+ guy (kept hitting the shower knob causing the water to jump between extremes of hot and cold), the hostel is an amazing value. It's right by the metro, making it easy to get around. The staff was helpful, but Diana Jesse was the best. She was helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and seemed to be a genuinely nice person. Thanks Diana!

Easy to find from the S Bahn. Location was the best out of the hostels I researched. The accommodations were decent However, the internet was spotty at best. Decently clean. Self-serve kitchen was good. Lots of room in the fridge.

The hostel had really good facilities and was very clean. They also provided 3 towels per person, shower gel and hand wash, which I thought was really good. The shower itself was good, warm-hot water and strong flow. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and they helped me get to the main station on the next day. The room itself is fine, but the beds were single small beds, if you're a big person and move a lot, you might end up on the floor. BTW, the plugs are behind the beds.

Most of the facilities were amazing, however the self use kitchen left much to be desired. The staff were all very friendly and helpful with any and all questions one might have about the town and things to do. I loved the luggage lockers in the rooms that was very handy.

The hostel is really good, clean and the staff is really nice. The internet is free but you can connect with the same user and password for one hour. After that one hour you have to go to the reception and get another user and password (this is not cool). The hostel is not so close to the main attractions, but on the other hand it is very close to the train station. It's worth the money.

Good place for car users 'cause it has its own parking place (and it is locked :) ) and is close to the highway. Good connections to the city center by S Bhan. Also really nice rooms - new, clean, spacious. Nice and helpful staff. I would only complain about kitchen. Only few pots available, sticky floor, grey walls... it looked like something added as: 'well, we have this space underground so let's put some fridge there and let's pretend it is common space/kitchen.'

.It was my first time in Berlin so i wasnt to sure where i was looking, i knew somewhere pretty central to the main Train and Bus routes. When i was looking online for a Hostel i decided to try 2A Hostel and i was glad i did. The staff were outstanding and efficient and answered every question which i posed to them. Breakfast was great as well, you chose and paid for the Breakfast you wanted and it was pretty reasonable. The 2A Hostel fulfilled all of my requirements for my stay in Berlin.

Great spacious bathroom in the dormitories & very safe locker system. Excellent value for money however it's more like a hotel rather than a hostel and lacks atmosphere... Bar was deserted each night (disastrous for two 18 year olds!) and there were very few opportunities to meet fellow travellers. Kitchen was poor - small & pots and pans were always in use (I.e food was being stored in them) by the long term guests, and oven was out of order. Situated near train station.

The hostel itself is nice but it's not located in a very good location. It's far from all the main spots of Berlin. It also lacks atmosphere. There's not many young people around and it's hard to meet any travelers.

very clean and the staff were really nice and helpful. could be in a better location, but it's right by a subway station so it's easy to get to the center of the city.

Not close to the city Centre or main stations, but opposite to a S-Bahn station from where you can be in the city in a few minutes. Everyone at reception were really nice and helpful. The hostel was very clean except from two burgers left in the oven (which wasn't working) ages ago, they were cover in some kind of fungus. Hot showers, comfortable beds, big bedrooms. Bathrooms had soap and shower gel. Free wifi but you have to ask for a code every hour, that's uncomfortable. I will stay again .

Key cards for rooms and personal locker which is locked by key card - possibly most secure hostel I've stayed in. Having to get a password for an hour of internet each time is a drag. Beds are good - can be noisy if your room looks out over the railway station. Location: takes about 45mins/hour to walk to centre but metro very close to the hostel.
