The WiFi was a pain to get on!! The kitchen was filthy and needed a clean out weeks ago. There were a lot of none sense `rules` that seemed very pedantic and everything costs money when it should be free of charge. The area was very creepy, dodgy and full of weird people.

Stayed here for 3 nights this February. It has a good location on the edge of Neukoln, really close to the S and U Bahn. Theres also really good breakfast you can buy in the morning+lockers are free n huge. But the internet acces was really stupid, you only get REALLY SLOW free wifi for 12 hours, which you have to acces through a weird login and logout system. Kind of outdated. Id recommend it more for families or friends then meeting people, but maybe that was just the offseason atmosphere.

The hostel is located quite far away from the tourist attractions. I opted to relocate to something a bit closer. The room were clean, modern and large, however, noisy from the train station.

The hostel and the staff are wonderful

Everything was really great but the deposits really make you feel broke. The wifi logs you out a lot but it works once your logged in. The staff were very friendly but were not very informative when we asked them what we should go see. Overall, nice place to stay though.

I'm not sure why there are bad reviews of this hotel-like hostel. It's not really out of the way-it's right by a S-line metro in an up n coming neighborhood. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the dorm room I stayed in was spacious, clean and with good sized lockers. The wi-fi was a bit wonky at times but for the most part worked. Would stay here again.

I'd spent here seven days. The staff were great, really friendly, helpfull and nice. It is not located on the prettiest neirbohood, but the s-bahn station is in front of it and the u-bahn station a few steps away. It's a little bit noise because of those stations (they provide ear plugs though). There's a big kitchen with what one may need. The room were clean, they provide soap and shampoo - great if you're a light traveler. They also have hairdryer and towels.

The hostel itself was beautiful and a clean place to stay for a night. The staff was very nice and the lounge area on the ground floor is a good place to hang out. That being said, this hostel is not located in the best part of town. It is right beside a train station, which is great for getting around, but I did not feel safe outside at night nor during the evening. The outside of the building was very dirty and attracted alot of weird people who hung around the entrance and side.

Although close to an S & line its still a fair way out from city centre. The guest kitchen was dirty and pretty dingy and you can hear everything (trains, people in hallway, doors slaming) from your bed. Staff are really helpful but the place isn't really for backpackers wanting to meet new people and explore the city's exciting sideside. Rooms were clean and good sized lockers.

Compared to other excellent Berlin Hostels I have visited in the past, such as East Seven, 2A Staff has yet to improve in warmth and proactiveness. If they do so, I am sure 2A Hostel has very good potential

Great place to stay. Getting around the city is really easy. Hostel is safe and clean. The S-Bahn does run right next to it, so it can be a little noisy at night if you are a lighter sleeper. Also, the wifi wouldn't work for my iPhone 4s. Not a major issue for me, but if you really need to be connected, it might be a problem (they do offer computers though).

The perfect hostel in Germany! Great place, great staff, good price, all is perfect!

The only one good thing is the location near S U bahn. Wifi is only free for 12 hours when you check in no matter how many days you will stay. After that, you have to ask the reception for free wifi ticket which is only 1-hour usage. You can need more when you pay money. The cleanliness is poor. The house keeping is abitrary. Sometimes they don't clean the entire floor.

they only gave us a 12-hour free wifi ticket which only valid for 48 hours, but we stayed here for about a week, it doesn't make sense. They provides an one hour free wifi ticket to everyone if you ask the reception. However, the reception started to be dissatisfied because we ask for the ticket so frequent. That's really annoying. The room just next to a S bahn makes a lots noise. The little "sofa" in the room made me itchy then I dare not sit there anymore.

Wi-Fi is not FREE. And most of the time, just doesn't work.

Not very close from city centre, but right beside a station. Staff is nice, kitchen is good, very clean. The wi-fi is absolutely disgraceful. Very poor signal and most of the time no signal at all. They charge you 1 euro for that. I wouldn´t mind paying if it actually worked. Also my login didn´t even work in the last morning even before I have checked out. Very noisy during the night bc of the station. One of the girls in my room brought a guy over. He snored all night and no one could sleep.
