It is a nice place in Stockholm with nice bedrooms; About the security, I was very surprised to see an electric switch for the light, inside a shower cabin !!! ; In France this is strictly forbidden and out of safety rules...

Excellent location, very nice staff and rather clean guesthouse. It's not that secured, but I guess Stockholm's a safe city anyway.

The location was good just next to Gamla Stan, and we could leave our bags at the hostel on the check out day so we didn't have to carry them with us the whole day. Patrick was extremely helpful and nice at the front desk!

2kronor is probably the best hostel I have stayed in for some time. Its main attraction for a visitor should be its perfect location in the heart of the Old Town. However, the homeliness, cleanliness and friendliness of the place was a real bonus. The staff are excellent, and the young lad at reception was particularly helpful in giving me directions to Stockholm's national park. The one problem I had with the hostel was the 65 kronor charge for linen and towel which seemed a little excesesive.

You need to pay an extra 65 SEK for bed linen upon arrival putting this hostel in the more expensive bracket. The hostel is very well organised but completely inpersonal, with very little communal space and most rooms isolated by several corridors and pass coded doors. If you want a good nights sleep this hostel is great - if you'd like to meet some people to explore Stockholm with then you should stay elsewhere.

The Double-bed room is so small that you couldn't even open your bags on the floor! It's impossible to open the window without climbing on a shelf and then use a bottle to keep it open. Your back will ache after sleeping on these matrasses! Both reading lights didnt't work. Showerhead is broken, almost no water coming out. Worst hostel ever - never again!

We had a very great stay at 2kronor! It was the second time I stayed at this hostel and I would come again. Thanks a lot!

If I'm ever asked where to stay in Stockholm I'll recommend never to book in 2kronor (unless there's no other option). It's expensive, and lacks lots of basic things such as reasonable spaces -rooms incredibly small, two tiny toilets...- or cleanliness. Besides there's no lockers room and the check in time table is ridiculous.

Uncomfortable hostel, small kitchen, no heating in the bedrooms and very dirty (the bedrooms as well as the bathrooms)!

When I booked hostel, web page did not tell that check-in is between 3-6pm... in stead it asked time to my check-in. Not a nice surprise when you book hostel and expect that you can go direct to hostel after flight arriving 8am. Otherwise hostel nice and location excellent!

a friend of mine and I were really disappointed. we stayed at 2kronor only for 1 day. we sent the hostel an email, we want to pay cash on the next morning, but they charged our creditcard without our agreement and so we had to pay extra charges. if you want to go to the shower in the morning, you have to walk through the eating room, and the shower smelled really bad, and there were only 2 toilettes at the whole hostel. they have no room for the luggage!

The location was excellent in the heart of the city and old Town attractions, a good choice for low budget travellers. The room was modest, but the main thing (the beds) were good and we slept very well there, in spite of the young people who were talking in the lobby and the kitchen in a very loud voice all night long (maybe some of them were suffering from time difference?)

Hello, the showers were pretty dark and dirty. The people who took a shower before us left hairs, underwear and bloody band-aids. Some of the showers were so small, so you couldn't store your clothes properly. Toilets were ok. The room was clean but had only small windows so a bit dark. The lounge was excellent to eat, read or drink a tea. Also the kitchen was super!

Quite nice and cosy atmosphere and the location is great, but the facilities weren´t too clean and the showers did not work for the whole morning the day when we checked out.

It was really nice to stay here except for the fact that the building is close to the road, that it was a bit noisy to sleep because of cars passing by. But kitchen and other facilities are clean and shower rooms were better than my expectation.

the hostel staff were very helpful, they knew I was not arriving till very late so emailed me security codes to door's and left instructions in a safe for me. the location is good as it's close to all major stations and very easy to find, very clean and friendly atmosphere every time I have stayed the staff and other guest's have made me welcome. I return there agin in 5 week's for a few days in Stockholm and look forward to my stay.
