I purposely rent a hostel room with kitchen and washing machine. Unfortunately there is no free cooking utensils and washing powder supplied, need to be rented at 3000won. Finally I choose to buy a small cooking pot and plastic bowls for cooking. The washing machine was not used.

In my opinion this is the best hostel in Seoul. Always had a great experience there, the staff has been really helpful and so nice.

It was a really nice hostel, very clean, a little difficult to find but worked out to be an excellent location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Only negative side was that there was no common room so atmosphere was lacking. All in all I would go back there again (as I have already)

The hostel is very new so it doesn't have the usual facilities to cook-pans, spatula etc but I guess that usually occurs since there weren't a lot of tourists who cook. Anyway-the place is awesome, everything is new and it is located at a great location. For Muslims who preferred a place with ensuite rooms (toilet, kitchen and washing machine) Pencil has it all. The staffs are great and friendly-definitely a plus.

Overall a pleasant stay. Would've been nice to be able to have a kettle which was all rented out at the time of our stay. All in all, thank you for having us =).

We had a private 4 bed ensuite with a small kitchenette. It was pretty cramped but good for a short weekend away.
