When we did not have a taxi to leave to the busstation , the owner brought us to a taxistand by car. She was really lovely and helpful. The location is ideal for visiting the different praias (2 by by walking or the rest by bus) the lagao de Conceicao. To reach Florianopolis you have to travel a little bit more by bus but its fairly oke.

The staff couldnt speak any english, They werent helpful. they seemed to want to try bleed money out of stone. They could have approached customers in a moer easy-going attitude. The bin in the toilet of the share dorm was horrible! The hostel itself was cool, the hammocks on the front veranda were nice and it was pretty central in Lagoa. The beach was a 15min walk away and central Lagoa was really cool. I dont know if id recommend this place to my friends. The staff werent nice.

We only stayed for New Year´s Eve. It was nice enough and we shared a room with a couple who was upstairs (duplex dorm) with air conditioning and TV, but our part didn´t, wich left us unsure wether it was a different rate or just chance. We couldn´t use our private (dorm's) bathroom because the toilet did not flush (clotted), so we had to use the public one downstairs. The reception people were very nice. The "locker" was a tiny 20x20 cm box with a loose lock. I'd recommend if passings by.
