Had a wonderful stay and would without hesitation recommend it to anyone traveling to Edinburgh. The hosts gave me such a warm welcome, the house and its rooms are beautiful, great bed and bathroom, and a good breakfast with excellent coffee and tea. The 15 min walk is well worth it.

Our stay at 46 was perfect. We loved our large, light, airy twin bedded room with its en suite bathroom. Our hosts couldn't have been kinder. The continental breakfast was very good. We liked the location as being a comfortable walking distance from the centre with lots of buses nearby-one actually using pilrig street.

Really enjoyed our 2 night stay. About a mile from the city center, but on several bus lines and it's a nice walk too! Comfortable room and very nice breakfast!

Terrific stay. The moment we got inside the guest house, we felt like home. The breakfast was very good, with delicious fresh fruits and toasts, with one of the best coffees I've had in the UK. The hosts really went the extra mile to make us feel home. I will absolutely come back. And soon.
