the staff was really friendly. lovely place to stay, really good location. we were lucky enough to have a double bedroom with sea view. really good value for money, including breakfast (buffet). if i ever go back to Reykjavik, I will definitely stay in this hotel again. we hired a car from their rental office. 15% off on the rental price. they also arrange day trips, all is very well organised.

Staff were great; friendly, helpful, chatty, made us a packed breakfast to take to the airport. Double room with en suite was small, a bit shabby and not the cleanest (body hair on the bed throw) but it was cheap and excellent location on the main street, across the road from the penis museum. Stayed over a weekend and didn't get any noise disturbance. Nice bar and reception area. I'd stay again for the money.
