We stayed only one night at the 6 small rooms on our trip through Italy. We were out most of the time and came back only for sleeping and for this purpose the room was ideal. It was certainly small but had all the basic facilities you need. However, the tiny bathroom (shower + toilet) was seperated from the rest of the room only by a curtain. The owner was refreshingly friendly and open and showed us all the places we needed to see in the city.

Jenny is super friendly and helpful. Dont get too excited about the free breakfast although you do get mandarins picked from the streets of naples in winter. Otherwise its quite cheap and comfortable enough with a great atmosphere.

Had a lot of fun, loved the personal touches of the place and the ability to use the kitchen. The staff is very helpful and friendly and I really enjoyed myself. The place does seem a little sketchy from outside but it is pretty close to the middle of the city.

the location is ok - generally the hostel is not far from the Dante metro station, it's near the historical center, is only a little difficult to find this small street where is situated the hostel (or rather; the guesthouse). the stuff speaks free english and well italian. the design of this big appartment is really interesting, the atmosphere is simple and agreeable; there is only one just a bit sad thing - no lift (the 4th floor if i don't make a mistake).

I stayed there for 8 nights in private room with my daughter. Everything is cool!!! Great place, nice location (close from everything), nice staff, Je suis restée 8 nuits avec ma fille .

The idea of the hostel was nice but there is very little privacy in the dorm rooms as the face right onto the lounge and reception area and they like to keep the doors open. If you want to rest or sleep it is quite noisy until everyone goes to bed. Also people walk in and out of the dorms to collect washing which can be frustrating. To use the bathrooms you have to walk through the busy lounge room too.

Owner Comment (Show)
Dear Kirsten, we really enjoyed having you and we tried really hard to engage you and welcome you but we're all at a loss as to why you would choose to stay in a hostel - a place where being sociable is what we pride ourselves on and go out of our way to be. We hope the rest of your travels go really well, it was nice to meet you. regards Jenny, Kara, Chloe and Simon.

My stay at 6 small room was completely wonderful. I only stayed 1 night with a friend at this hostel but it is frankly one of the best hostel have stayed. The kitchen is gorgeous, clean room and bathroom. There are 3 girls at the reception who are so helpful and kind. The Australian offered to me and my friend a tea that we accepted with pleasure. I will definitely stay here for my next trip to Naples and recommend highly this hostel with a nice envirmnent. I forgot, the breakfast is huge.

I dont like a cat walking all over the kitchen benches and i dont care how many times you clean it after him we just could not eat in the kitchen w here there was food nor sit on the lounge Not a glass in the room to get a drink of water if you have none of your own.The tv in the room had no aeriel so was a waste of time.Yes we are 50 plus but even so.You want the truth and this is it.AUSTRALIA

clean and comfortable! i definitely recommend this hostel. my boyfriend and i stayed in the private room with ensuite. it was fine but i would recommend you save the money and stay in one of the dorm rooms (no bunk beds, big, clean) and stay in a private room at another hostel where you dont know if the dorms will be ok. great atmosphere overall

so nice. everyone was lovely (especially simon). really enjoyed my stay. especially when you were going going going all day long, it was lovely to come back to a quiet and friendly environment, also really cosy with the couches in the living room. plus the painting on the wall in the living room was incredible. would definitely stay here again, and again, and again!

Jenny the owner was very welcoming and helpful, as were other staff. Would definitely go back and also recommend. I do a fair bit of travelling and have to say it's one of the best hostels I've stayed in.

I'm a reluctant hosteler at best - the choice tends to be entirely about not being able to afford a hotel - but am so glad we chose 6 Small Rooms. The location is perfect, the staff are excellent, the facilities are great, and it even met cleanliness standards set by lots of work travel in posh hotels. Couldn't recommend more!

We stayed in a twin room down on the first floor, which was huge and pretty clean. The employees and host were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was standard, with a huge amount of clementines to eat! The hostel was well placed for exploring the old part of town, hanging out in the piazzas during the evenings and walking distance to the train, bus to the airport and waterfront. We would defintely stay in this hostel again, rating it as one of the top hostels we've stayed at.

Amazing! The staff was incredibly helpful and so friendly! They show you the in's and out's as soon as you get there. I loved that it was located right in the center of Naples, but walking up those stairs was killer! I was traveling alone in the beginning and instantly found chill people at the hostel to hang with. Would most definitely stay there again!

Most beautiful and cleanest hostel I have stayed at by far. There is also a great cat named Simon who cheers up the house further. Breakfast is absolutely delicious. The owner really cares about the happiness of her guests.
