Area is loud, staff were not overly friendly or helpful. Only a few benefits of the location is the free shuttle to downtown, otherwise it can be a long walk back to the hostel, as well, many of the activity booking agencies are located in close proximity.

790 on George is a very good place to stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially Duncan. Well recommended to stay here when you're in Sydney.

Staff were lovely, but the bunkbeds were flimsy and difficult to climb. You could feel every movement the other person made. You have to pay for the internet which barely worked whilst I was there.

The staff in 790 on George were really friendly and extremely helpful. We had a double room which was a little on the small side but very clean and the bathroom was right beside us. The location is the main reason to stay here, it is right in the centre and extremely close to Darling Harbour in particular, Central Station and only a 10-15min walk to Circular Quay. Would highly recommend this to backpackers and other travellers staying in Sydney, excellent value for money!

I had a business trip and needed somewhere clean and near the city - this ticked both boxes. I booked a private room which was a bargain compared to the extortionate hotel prices. Shared bathroom but that didn't phase me as this time last year I was a backpacker staying in hostels. Very happy with my stay.

The location is Chinatown, which is safe, but not that fun. It's close to Darling Harbour, which is great. The staff is awesome, and the TV room/internet is great. The price is cheap, which is great since Syney is expensiiiive!!! lol

loved staying in 790 i stayed 5 weeks. worked while i stayed there. Staff were always friendly helpful and upbeat. Kitchen was clean well equipt and large loved it. Tv rooms were a lovley touch. Rooms kept really clean they were cleaned daily no matter what. Staff were great in reinforcing security issues like 7 in a 6 bedded dorm. Atmosphere was a little disappointing large hostel very group orientated not ideal for lone back packers. i did share rooms wit some wicked people would recommend tis hostel very

great location, staff were really friendly and helpful but the noise, such a loud hostel, not helped by the paper thin doors. love it when people shout on their mobile phones right outside your room at 3am, fun,
