It was right on the main road, which means very good location, but it can be quite noisy if you like to sleep rather than party at night. Staff was very good, but they couldn't understand Portuguese, what is not very good when you have so many Brasilian guests. I don't know about English. Internet was only in the lobby, so we couldn't stay in our room when we wanted to communicate with family and stuff. The room was big, cosy, with a balcony and we could watch the street. Nice,

Nice rooms but for the price they could provide a small fridge and maybe a TV. The security boxes would be much better in the rooms than the complicated key system and $50 deposit required in reception. Breakfast could be a lot better for the price, and as most people were cooking their own food, the communal kitchen was lacking utensils (2 pans!). Clean, with friendly staff and a good location.

stood there over NYE and of course prices are very high. keep in mind no other restaurant than the pizzeria close by was open. the hostel is clean, safe and at a good location. staff is friendly. wifi didnt work well and had to be restartet all 15min - we have been told its a new issue but i really dont think so.
