Great staff, very helpful. A/C, Wi-Fi access and Great Wall tour (Jin Shan Ling),w. ere very good. Downside: room not cleaned properly. Had to do it ourselves. (Sheets clean.) Maids need training in housekeeping standards, tho that said, Beijing is dusty and windy, but at least you clean off sticky dirt! There is a lot of outside noise there plus a lot of cigarette smoke. This hostel is for young backpackers.

Dirty rooms, under the beds and mat which look to have never been cleaned under. Lots of hair in the shower plug. Terrible bar and food service - food hadn't arrived in the half hour we were instructed to go and eat breakfast before the tour and there was never anyone behind the bar in the 3 days we stayed there. Given the wrong room on arrival and was refused the room that we booked in advance - got given a different room after complaining enough. Very hostile looking and unhelpful staff.

1-I am a Chinese, I booked and paid for dorm bed for 4 nights, but they told me that the dorm room is only for foreigners. 2- I could not use my mobile normally in this hostel, other guy also has same problems. Frequently there is no mobile signals , in this case I lost many telephones and could not normally use my mobilephone.

Ok place but with a little work it could be a lot better. Its a shame that the staff don't seem to want to be there. Most of the staff struggled some of the most basic questions and had no local knowledge or advice. No organised activities and the bar was pretty dead.

When we arrived in the dorm, the blankets weren't clean at all, beds very hard. Only one bathroom for more than 20 people with a very very bad smel. Unfortunately we had to check out immediately. Don't stay at this hostel you will be surely disappointed!

You can reach zhangzhizonglu train station in5 min walking distance. Cleanliness- seem like a lot to improve which the dorm do not seem organized nicely an the mattress seem not really clean at the first sight, toilet isn't clean at all time but luckily there is a hot water for this dry and freezing season. Wifi connection is reacting in a quick way. The price is cheap compared with the others.

The staff weren't bad at all, just their english could've been better which prevented top marks. But they were very helpful where they could be. The room could've been cleaner, but there were no particular bad points other than clothing from people who stayed there previously and dried urine on the toilet seat.

Moldy bathrooms, apathetic staff, expensive restaurant, questionable security. I had a private room and someone walked right in during the night with a key from the front desk.

DIRTY BATHROOMS!Hair in shower drain, toilet, all over sink, had to ask an Ayi to plunge, she said all toilets suck and plunges on daily basis. After moving to room with slightly better toilet, b-room was still hair ridden. Was in a rush to book a hostel and didn\'t look at the reviews because 85% positive reviews. After this trip I went back and read all the reviews. The only reason it says 85% because it seems like someone from the hostel left a 100% positive review after a neg. review > (

The chill out area was COLD and unfriendly. During my time there i didn\'t see more than one person at a time there. Usually the staff used it as their chill out place. The bed was dirty (yellow spots on the sheets) and the bathroom smelled weird. You had to ask to get hot water in the shower (undress - dress again - go to desk - undress). The internet was a joke. They wanted 4 kuai/h and sometimes you could try to load a page for 20 min... The good thing was the location.

They are awesome people there. I had spent one night in a business hotel before coming to 9Dragons and the so called hotel (Guo Men Business Hotel) reception people hardly understand any English. People at 9Dragons are much better for that and they are very friendly and flexible people. They know why the guests are there and do their best to help the guests, I will definitely go back if I visit Beijing again.

We booked a three-bed room which is actually just a two-bed room that they add a third bed into to make it into a three-bed. The drain in the bathroom would not drain very well but at least there are bathroom slippers left in there for you to wear. Right next to the subway which is very convenient and a short cab ride away from lots of cool places.

The only good thing about this hostel was the location. Only a short walk to the metro station was great! The rest of the experience was poor or average the rooms were dirty, not well kept and we came back to our room one day after it had been cleaned to find the door wide open. The staff did not speak English really at all. The tour to the Great Wall was only great because of the location the guide didn\'t speak the whole trip! And when asked questions he didn\'t known. Mostly Chinese guests.

2 minutes from the metro station (you should only choose the proper exit from metro), very easy by subway to go to different places of interest. It's quite in the hostel, cosy, rather warm in the rooms, roms are very nice, wi-fi everywhere. Very helpful staff, a lot of good & cheap local restaurants nearby. Hostel offers different tours, for example, to the Great wall (we attended one, very-very good - they take you to the real ancient part of the Wall).
