OK hostel but there were some small issues but moste of them were sorted out during our stay. The air conditioner are controlled downstairs and we had to tell them to turn it on once or twice. The door was hard to shut and we actually missed this the first time we went out, exposing us to some risk (thats why security low). There were small ants in both beds but we were not bothered by them so much so we didnt complain. They arranged transfer, very good. The wifi workred fine. TV bad reception.
Checked in on arrival at 6am. Good location for the backpacker district. Shop downstairs and they serve drinks on the pavement outside in the evening. Most of the staff are very friendly, but one was quite rude when we were drinking outside. Told us we weren't drinking fast enough and could leave. Very noisy.
Location was good, but only 1 staff speaks english. This hostel is NOISY. If you're looking for peace and quiet it is definitely NOT the place to go. On the first night the hot water was not working. On the 2nd night the air conditioning was not working. Staff seems pretty annoyed when asked to rectify the matter. On one of the bed there was a yellow stain. Would not like to know even what is that stain. For $16 per night, there's tonnes of other better choices around Bui Vien Street.
Thanks for the great hospitality. Great hostel with brilliant atmosphere out front at night.
Hanh, the younger lady, was very nice. Excellent place for backpackers as there is drinking party every night along Bui Vien. Hostel building is relatively new and we had a comfy stay. We had the big room with window which was really nice but wifi works only along the stairs (and inner rooms i guess). We also booked tours from Hanh which were Delta tours. The old lady across the street sells the best banh mi and sticky rice! We miss her a lot. Go to 102 for cheap draft beer.
Friendly lady running the show and her English is good enough. Got a bar outside which kicks on late, along with a few others nearby, so wouldn't go for a front room. Clean and tidy - aircon sometimes goes, necessitating a trip to the desk to reset. Overall, given it's right in the heart of things I'd recommend for backpackers.
We arrived very late in Saigon and the hostel owners got up early for us to book us onto a bus the following morning - amazing service! The hostel is on top of a (reasonably priced) shop which is very handy. And the location is perfect.
Not bad bang for your buck. Appears they're now running a beer hoi out the front of the hotel now as well.
Although the guesthouse is right above the main tourist hang outs in district one it's not that noisy. It's so easy to get to tours, markets, food and bars and the staff are fantastic.
Really good wifi on all floors, great staff with good English, useful shop downstairs, clean rooms. All round great hostel (apart from the stairs!)

Simple but good... busy street, great staff
I booked one twin room and one three beds room. Because friend's plan changes, I called twice, first time is to cancel the three beds room, and the second is to keep the three beds room, hotel also said OK, and I also send mail that finally we need one twin room and one three beds room. But when we arrived, i't's closed, I ring the doorbell for a long time, but no any response, I called hotel and no response yet, later it's opening, and told us only one three bed room, actualy it's two beds room
If you want a secure location in the heart of backpacker action. This is it. The manageress has excellent English and is exceptionally competent.
