Perfectly decent, good value for money, but the location is both a blessing and a curse; bang on the central tourist stretch, but I slept on the first floor and without my fan on it sounded like there was a fight going on downstairs for most of the night.

Good guesthouse in a very nice street. Around the corner (in the alley) is another guesthouse run by the same owner. It's $$ cheaper for a double room there.

The location is great for backpackers just starting out in the city, lots of food and late night entertainment all around. The room itself had nice amenities; good AC, a desk, and hot water. The minifridge didn't work, but for the price of the room we didn't expect a fridge at all so we were okay with it. Staff was sometimes helpful and sometimes seemed like they had no idea what was going on.

Very helpful with booking tours, buses, giving directions and planning activities... Cheap convenience store for beer, snacks, water etc downstairs, and cheap knock-off lonely planets!

it was right on the center of Bui Vien, the drunkard's paradise. We had them laundry our clothes for $1/kg but the whites turned to blues! Owner was nice, but she's the only one who speaks English. Rooms were ok for backpacker's standard. There's an ocean of choices to choose from in Sai Gon!

Great hostel! The staff are amazingly kind and really want you to feel at home. At night, the downstairs bar is one of the most popular places to grab a drink - and one of the cheapest in town!

You'd probably have to pay the staff for them to smile at you, it's so clinical at this establishment. No daytime atmosphere, but the guesthouse also sells beer out the front on the street for dirt cheap, which is very social and it's always thronged with backpackers. In this respect you are right at the centre of things if you stay in this place, so hope your window faces out to the rear.... good luck sleeping if you've got a front room. Also, I found the pillows were horrible, hard as a rock.

Extremely impressed with this Guesthouse. The staff were helpful and were able to assist with my trips, the location was great and the room was very clean with towels, toothbrushes, soap. One of the best Guesthouses I've stayed in!
