The only two things I didn't like about the hostel was the lady cleaner who was a bit rude (but I guess it was a culture thing), and the second-hand smoke from other tenants who smoked in the lobby, albeit near a window. This should be prohibited. But all in all, I was very satisfied. The rooms are clean, facilities functional, and most of all, there's an amazing massage chair that we can use for FREE! Perfect for relaxing our tired muscles from the long walks in the city. Very near the MRT,too

Very excellent location, super clean room, and really helpful staff. Average for breakfast and shower. Overall, worth the price.

Would definately stay there again! Softest bed in a budget hostel I had in a while! Free & fast wifi, staff helped with my bags. Aljunied MRT station is 2 minutes away, fast connection to city & airport. Pretty clean, floors are wiped daily, sheets don't smell at all. The little bit of mould between shower tiles isn't the worst I've ever seen. Don't expect a special breakfast though: White bread, jam & instant coffee. Community area is small, but they made the best of the available space.

actually its not a typical hostel, its like an appartment with many rooms, but its ok, clean, super close to the MRT, has a massage couch, compfortable beds, its nice to rest, it has cheap restaurants near, but its not too close from the touristic places, but the rest is good

The toilet is very poor, dirty. They have free breakfast but it's always the same, bread and butter and sauces. I and my friend just eat their breakfast only one day. According to the hostel rules, we must leave our shoes and flip lop outside. But on our first day staying, my friend's converse flip lop had been stolen. There're noone to blame for. That's terrible After this accident, I brought my flip lop and shoes in my room. I lived upstair and there's no fork or spoon, no disk or bow

We chose 98SG because it claimed to be the cheapest in SG. In fact, it isn't. They charge you 10% "service charge" & additional 3$ per person for staying only one night. This information is barely accessible as you have to click on "read more" to find it. These additional charges raise the overall price by 1/3, making it a very poor value for money-option. The room we had (6) was moldy all over & with a cockroach dozing on the floor.Various posters ask for your money - no service, no atmosphere

Going to the hostel was a bit difficult since it's in a secluded area. It has AC which is good with Singapore's heat. I got free breakfast in the morning: bread, cereal (no milk), coffee. Showers and bathroom are together, and they're pretty small. The place is someone's apartment transformed into a hostel. FREE WIFI. There's a lounge area where you can sit and watch tv but it's small. it's close to the metro so that was a plus, off sets how far it was from everything. Pretty clean, not bad

The proximity to the MRT was super convenient. The overall atmosphere of the place was pretty uptight, with signs everywhere about various violations and their subsequent fines, but our beds were comfortable and the food nearby was cheap. Overall a pleasant stay.

This hostle was in a good location for the metro. However it was full of local workers on our floor who would walk around in there underwater in the common area. They were very mound at 12 midnight when they arrive home and loud at 6 leaving for work. The room was smelled so did the common areas. Staff unfriendly and at 10 .30 came knocking fld us to check outebdn though check out was 11. Felt very uncomfortable our whole stay. Would not reccomend

The price was very good but we had a room where one wall was quite full of must. But we were alone in the room, what made me really happy. Furthermore it didn't seem like a hostel because it seemed like a lot of guest workers were living there. I wouldn't recommend to stay there without a man. One very nice thing was the massage seat in the upper flat. We could have a full body massage for free.
