This hundred year old house is updated with a top notch minimalist aesthetic, giving it the feel of a Botique hotel for a fraction of the price. Moreover, this is a well loved family run business, and it shows. I felt well taken care of, even on the day I had food poisoning from a local restaurant. The staff brought me chammomile tea in bed, and even offered to call the doctor for me. The included breakfast is simple but high quality. Breads and juices are fresh. Coffee is freshly ground.

In four nights we never had our garbage taken out, our beds made or our bathroom cleaned. Even when I asked the daughter for it to be done after my husband had been very sick one night. Still, nothing. Not even an extra roll of toilet paper. The place needs a good cleaning and some instructions on customer service. Their only concern is making money off the tourist. If you just want a bed for the night okay, but if you expect ANY service at all, go someplace else.

I enjoyed my stay here. I'd say it's more of a pension than a hostel, but that's not a bad thing. Better for solo travellers and families than most hostels. I did have a few bed bugs but nothing too bad. Nice and secure and an excellent location in one of South America's prettiest tows. Also the proprietess was very understanding when I rolled in at about 1.30am after my bus was delayed!

Great location (can walk everywhere), well-kept old building with cute courtyard, very spacious room, relatively quiet at night. Cautions: I had one nice, warm shower, and one freezing cold shower. Also, the floors were a bit dusty.

The rooms are very stylish and clean, but sometimes there was no hot water.

the staff were extremely nice but the shower and toilet were outside and the bed was up such steep stairs that going to the toilet in the night didnt make for a great experience. the PC and wireless dont work either. great location though.

To sum it up I left a day early. La senora, the owner was rude. The shower head fell off on my partners head and it took 2 days to fix it. There was no hot water in our room or the room next door which they offered to us for showering. The young lady who served us breakfast was very nice but her boss made things difficult. I would never stay there again and I certainly would not recommend it..

Great location. I had a good time, met some cool travelers. The inside reminded me of a cool place I stayed at in Spain with large inner courtyards where the rooms faced into them. Quiet, no noise from outside comfortable beds, slept really well.

decent- but make sure you bring a 3 plug converter; could not find a grounded outlet in the place. no internet in the rooms but main common rooms aren't too bad to hang out in.
