A very nice place, welcoming atmosphere, clean bathrooms etc., friendly, helpful and smiling staff. I would definitely go there again.

It was good . The receptionist were really friendly and helped a lot . The only down thing is that the AC in the room was working properly and it was hot but whatever is a small thing in the overall rating

This hostel is very clean and very well maintained, the only downside as a solo traveller was the entire lack of atmosphere mainly due to the general older age of guests staying here (50+). Other than that it is a good hostel in every other aspect!

Incredible hostel. Special mention for staff member Clement who was really kind and helpful. Great atmosphere and location. The bathrooms are the cleanest I've ever seen in a hostel!

The hostel is nice, the breakfast is rich with toast, cake, coffee, tea, juice, milk etc. The staff is very helpfull, nice people, especially Clemente (Clemens) !! This hostel has also a bar and terrace. Sometimes are the information wrong (hihi) but this is Sicily!! I recomend this hostel...

I loved this hostel. It's just a shame that the owner is a bit of a creep. He would give wrong directions and act like an idiot. Apart from that I can't flaw this hostel at all.

I really recommend this hostel for people who are traveling true Palermo. Very nice owner and people who work in the hostel. Also a very nice environment just to hang out in the evening.

Excellent hostel, nice environment and lovely staff, could be a little but cleaner. Excelente hostal, buen ambiente y el staff muy buena gente, podría ser un poco más limpio.

This is by far the best and coolest hostel I have ever stayed in. The staff is incredibly friendly and chill, the place is filled with instruments for you to play and paintings painted by guests who have loved the place as much as I did. You do have to pay extra for a towel, but not much. I have never stayed in a friendlier place with a more welcoming atmosphere than this. I'm not sure such a place exists.

This hostel was great, the kitchen was well equipped and the staff were super friendly and helpful. It was close to transportation (although a bit far from the train station) and was overall a great place to stay!

The wifi is incredibly slow but breakfast and staff were great! The drum circle can get really loud but you shouldn't stay here if you aren't chill with that kind of stuff.

Great staff, especially Alessandra. Comfy beds, good showers, nice outside space, decent breakfast. Quite a busy place, lots of families. The instruments that are all around are a mixed blessing. Recommended.

Lovely hostel in a nice area of Palermo, but quite a bit of a walk to the main sights and train station. Nice atmosphere to meet people, colourful spacious dorms, huge kitchen and common areas as well as a piano and different kinds of percussion instruments for you to join in the fun.

Nice hostel in a central location and good access to everything. The staff were lovely - very friendly, welcoming and helpful, giving information about the city, providing maps and tips about where to eat and drink. Common rooms were great plus a well equipped kitchen. Good atmosphere for meeting other people. Was only a bit surprised to see families staying there as well - perhaps the building is more than just a youth hostel?

My husband and I really enjoyed our time at A Casa di Amici. The staff were friendly and reasonably knowledgable, I would have liked more recommendations on food and bars. The private rooms are spacious and clean as were the bathrooms. I really liked the lounge room area as it made the place feel warm and welcoming. Breakfast was very good. Only downside was the street noise as the hostel is on a major road. Otherwise we loved our stay.
