A Casa di Amici is a great hostel. Clean, comfortable, one of the better breakfast offerings I've experienced, and great facilities (like big bathrooms and bedrooms). Claudia and the others around the hostel are very nice and if asked for advice or asked to explain anything about the city and its people, they are helpful and provide great info. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to everyone. A very positive experience for me!

Very friendly hostel with large, spacious rooms and huge bathroom! Kitchen facilities also very good. Plenty of information given to help see Palermo and surrounding areas. Close to the city centre - shops, cafes, restaurants and theatre - though still in a relatively 'quiet' location.

Claudia, the owner of "a casa di amici" is really nice and speaks English and Spanish well. She suggested city spots I should visit and was really helpful helping me figuring out how to use the bus and train system. The room I was staying in was clean and the bathroom was as well. They clean every day and you can ask a change of towels if you wish. I would definitely reccomend Palermo and "A Casa di Amic" to a friend visiting Sicily.

The hostel is very nice decorated, staff is nice and helpful. Rooms and toilets are very clean. Breakfast is good (toast, bread, jam, honey, milk, coffee, cornfalkes, juice..). The hostel is situated in the quite street near the two main streets. I would recommened it.

This hostel was great. Small, clean rooms (no bunks). Friendly staff. Convenient location (near lots of buses and within walking distance of most sights in Palermo). It was a very sociable hostel - a great place to meet and make friends with others whilst hanging out at breakfast, in the lounge, or cooking dinner in the kitchen. Definitely recommended!

Helpful staff and everything was very clean. Easy to meet other people and very nice atmosphere in the evenings. There were no security lockers in the sleeping rooms. This was the only thing i missed. Otherwise it would be a perfect place to stay in palermo.

Great Hostel, no complaints here. Claudia is amazing, she is fun and cheerful and makes the stay more pleasant. My only complaint would be people over 40 should stay in a private room. Lets face it, 20 year olds and 60 year olds dont have that much in common and makes the stay seem like your with a parent or grandma. This happens in other hostels But apart from that everything else was spot on, clean, safe and claudia and Massimo are great hosts, could have not asked for anymore...

perfect, close to the bus station, railway station and close to modern and history part of Palermo. Clean, nice staff, small hostel but it's better to meet people. About breakfast : maybe the only hostel I visited with a GOOD and FULLY breakfast.

The Hostel is in a great location, very close to most of the sites in Palermo! The hostel gets cleaned very well everyday and you sleep on actual beds, not bunk beds :). The staff are helpful and will try to help you with any question that you have. Would recommend this to any other travellers.

Rooms are spacious. No bunks. The staff were OK, but could be a little more helpful with things to do/places to eat in Palermo etc. Breakfast was good. Common area was a comfortable place to relax. It is a little ridiculous that there is only one Female toilet/shower for the whole floor ... and then to get yelled at by the cleaner for using the sink in the kitchen to clean my teeth because someone was having a shower ! Anyway the owners apologised .

There are two locations, only one of which has wifi. We were put in the one without wifi and were not given the option of moving.

Tones of character, lovely n homey deco. Owner max is lovely Only thing is tat the air con in our room doesn't work, we have to open the window at night which is VERY noisy! The cars horn for no reason (I know because they horn like they r playing rather than warning) in the middle of night -2/3 am!! May b is better in other room not facing the street
