It's definitely fresh to wake up in a coffee shop, as the rooms are just above the store. The rooms need some cleaning though as the floor was covered with dust. Overall, apart from the cleanliness, this hostel still worth for a stay as the location is very good. (which is just 5mins walk from the mtr station, near Yongkang street and a traditional market just right behind the hostel)
This is a funny place, it's a hipster coffee shop with light jazz and fancy coffees that also rents out some beds on the top floor. It's conveniently located in a central area and close to the MRT. Staff is quite cool and reserved, but in general friendly. You get some discount vouchers for breakfast, but even with them it's more pricy than a typical breakfast shop. The negatives: no towels, not for rent or to lend out, and slow internet that stops working when half a dozen people get on it.

Very convenient location, 2 stops away form Taipei main station you may miss it easily as it is a cozy coffee shop at their front door, the breakfast is not free but excellent; but the shower rooms & toilets are not enough; 1of them had no cold water but hot water available during my 3 nights stays... good value of place to stay in Taipei for convenience.
