Reviews & Ratings Explained
The rating percentage is calculated from customers who booked within the last 12 months.
All ratings and reviews are based on the feedback and opinions of the customers who submitted them and do not express the opinions of Hostelworld.com. This way, you get an up-to-the-minute opinion of just how good a hostel really is.

I was there during the chinese new year...so off course overpriced... I slept in a tiny 3 bed dorm with no curtains and a lot of noise from the road...I was glad to stay there for one night only...
Shower head is not able to secure properly while showering, and will rotate uncontrollably. No free bath towels, and it requires HKD10 per towel. No daily cleaning services of the room, only empty dustbins in the rooms and folding of blankets. No proper map of the emergency escape route pasted in the rooms (i.e. behind the room door). The corridors outside the rooms are too narrow, filled with many luggages. Never provide airport transfer before 8am because hotel office does not open before 8am.
Just choose a real hostel run by people who understand what running a hostel is about. Most "hostels" in places like Sincere House or Chunking Mansion are run by greedy persons who just want to make, money, money, money.... and are willing to sacrifice anything good for their guests in exchange for making another 10 dls. a day if they can. And a word of advice: Don't mind about the rating numbers, those don't mean anything in Hong Kong. Oh! and I had to wait 15 min. to get into the elevator!
