Our room was ant-infested, and the shower had next to no pressure. The female receptionists were very unfriendly and did not help us wih any of our travel inquiries. On 3 out of the 6 nights we were there, we were woken up by groups of boisterous drunks shouting at 3 in the morning. After the first time this happened, we told reception, who said they would tell the night guard to watch out for them. During the following 2 nights, at no point did any staff members attempt to hush them.

Was a good location. Had ants in our room, all over the beds too. The 3 nights i was there the room didn't get cleaned once so the bins were overflowing. In saying that i had a good time at the hostel the staff are great, very helpful, and it was a good location too. I would stay there again, No place is perfect

All in all, a great place. Stayed one night. Really nice Thai staff who knew good English. Also help Alot when planning tours and they are good value. I did a one day elephant riding, bamboo rafting and trekking tour for 650 baht. Wifi only good around the reception area- useless in rooms. Sidenote: Also overheard at reception a girl complaining that one of the security guards pushed her to the wall and tried to harass her.....

Theya clean the bathrooms in the morning around 9 am so make sure you r eup before that if you are a morning shower person. A few extra places to sit outside. They have two computers and wifi both free. Lots of people cooming and going as a lot of young backpackers come through and stay one night before heading to their next destination. Mattresses seem new, twin size in dorms, lockers for use.

Little Bird is great for backpackers. The location is excellent and so is the value.Located right next to the day market and a few minutes walk from a complex of several lively bars, this is a great place to stay in Chiang Mai. The staff are welcoming and friendly and always making suggestions for things to do and assisting with any requests bookings. The atmosphere is excellent and a large group of guests forms every night in the common area outside where the night usually begins.

This is a cute place with a lot going on. Lots of friendly people and the staff are very helpful and available. It was clean enough and had everything I needed. Simple but nice. The outdoor area was fun to hang out with and have a few beers.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Staff offered to organise a wide range if activities without pressuring you into participating. Great atmosphere. Individual lockers a great idea! The wifi is a bit dodgy and drops out a fair bit (no good for using Skype). Gets very noisy at night time with people drinking at hostel until lare hours - maybe tell everyone drinking to leave around 11pm-midnight. Also very, very affordable!

I guess you get what you pay for. Dorks are fine but bathrooms could be cleaner! The hostel has lots of places to chill and book treks etc. Good location with 7eleven and tesco round the corner and lots of bars close.

I loved little bird. A very fun guesthouse with a great atmosphere and a very good spot to meet people. It could have been cleaner but for 100 baht a night you can't go wrong!
