There was a large group of kids staying who may have impacted our impression of the hostel. However, its large size felt intimidating and lacked a homey feel. For a place to stay, especially one close to the train station. it was a good choice. It didn\'t invite lingering.

Good location, easy to get there (directly with the Bus X9 from Airport Tegel in 17min!) to the final station "Zoologischer Garten", many shops round the corner to get some food 24/7, beds were ok. Linen a bit expensive (3? extra). Very noisy at night due to the teenagers trying to have fun, drinking and shouting on the 4th floor... well, so take ear plugs with you if you intend to get some sleep there:D!!! Uncomplicated staff, relatively clean hostel.

Not the best one in town, not the worst one also. Very well located for early morning departure to Tegel airport, as the bus is two minutes walking from the hostel. By the way, ask for a room opposite of railways, too many trains and too much noise.

I was not lucky because there were a very noise people in my room. And the noise outside was terible. But it was very clean and well located. But it was a VERY VERY hot room. Impossible to sleep well.

Great location at a great price!Bathing rooms could be better if there were hangers IN the cubicles,as we have to come out of the cubicles to change, which exposes ourselves to others when someone opens the bathroom door. Also could have stated on the website that we should bring our own locks for the lockers. And lastly, the 'deposit' for the bedsheets are misleading as it makes people believe that they could get their 3€ back when they return the sheets, which isn't the case.

A big institutional hostel that seemed a bit understaffed, at least when I was checking in. The location is pretty good in an interesting neighborhood and right next to both U-bhan and S-bahn. The terraced trainspotter bar is a nice feature. The hordes of school kids on their school trips was a bit of a drawback. There also seemed to be too few toilets and showers on the 5th floor and their cleanliness left a bit to be desired. Overall, a decent place in a good location but nothing special.
