Great hostel. I met so many cool people! The staff took us out each night and we had an awesome time! They also had a 3 course dinner for 5€ which helped to s ave money. I can't wait to come back!

Staff did not provide an appropriate bathroom option, lighting in the room was scarce which made it very uncomfortable. Our group did not end up staying in this hostel and I would not recommend it.

My stay at the The Museum was very enjoyable. The building was beautiful and really made me feel like I was experiencing an authentic holiday in Venice. So close to everything! The nightly dinner cooked by the staff was not only a tasty money saver, it was a fantastic opportunity to meet and talk with people from all over the world. Basically my only complaint was I had wished there were lockers for me to lock up my computer during the day so I didn't have to carry it around with me. Great Place

FANTASTIC hostel. I stayed in 8 different hostels in Europe and this was definitely one of the BEST. It's clean, reception is REALLY helpful (they give you an overview of what to do in Venice when you arrive), internet access is great, the facilities are all modern and functioning.

This was one of the worst hostels of our trip. Run by Australian backpackers on a card table in the hallway. If you're after an authentic Italian meal, don't stick around for the 5 Euro dinner. It's cooked by Aussie blokes. If you're after a cheap meal then it's OK. We stayed at the private room building, a good 10 minute walk from the main hostel, and the internet did not work at all. Rooms were filthy, even though they said they were cleaned daily. No hot water in the morning.

The worst hostel i've ever been!!!!! I took a private room that wasn't at the same building that appears on the site, but in a another place far from there, where the door doesn't even had a key, so it was always opened..and the worst was they don't even had a locker, so i felt very insecure there. The room was a mess and they don't have hot showers, what was terrible considering i went there on winter. Just for one night and never more!!

The staff were great - always around, friendly and helpful. Dinner at night and going out afterwards was pretty great and was a fun way to meet or catch up with everyone in the hostel. The rooms don't lock and people from other rooms came in and out to use the bathroom, but the staff were always around so it felt pretty safe. Location was good, walking distance to everywhere. I had a great time and would definitely recommend this hostel if you want to meet interesting people and have a good time

The place was filthy and the staff wasn't helpful. The bed was improvised. They want to gain money by reducing the costs at its most. It's really expensive for what it is. I'll never go back there again. I'd rather sleep on the street.

advantage: free wifi, nice dinner and dessert ( awesome tiramisu!!!!!) disadvantage: a little bit hard to find this hostel, no locker, the staff were late, no one in hostel, so we were waiting in the street for 3 hours.

The workers really cared that the people staying had the best time possible! They were loads of fun and it was great having dinner each night with everyone else that was staying at the hostel. The place is in a great location. The only thing I didn't enjoy was having to pay for sheets for the bed. I'd definitely recommend this hostel to friends!

This is a party hostel. We felt that it was overpriced- perhaps typical for Venice. They have a meal for 5 euros but is at 8:30 so we didn't wait. The bathroom is nice. Pay for sheets- recommended because mattress and pillow without case-- not good! The floor was not clean. Very unproffessional check-in and out, just young men running the hostel.

A mixed bag. For such a bad city, hostels-wise,maybe it's okay but the room was really kind of grungy and the general vibe was of a place held together by duct tape. The best thing Museum has going for it is a fun and laid-back management staff that seems plenty separated from the overpriced and kind of draconian vibe handed down from ownership. The communal meal is really great, it had a feel of a bunch of friends going out for a cheap dinner, almost a family atmosphere.
