Great hostel though parking was a little out of the way.

I wasn't really there long enough to draw judgement but I suppose that's really the Dortmund way, people passing through town, taking advantage of cheap EasyJet flights. Given the lack of hostel market they could provide a lot less and get away with it. Reminds me of that HI vibe - ticks the basic boxes of a bed to sleep in but anything more, like bedding, wifi, breakfast, you have to pay for. Great location if you are passing through town on the train. Staff were friendly when I checked in.

it more like a hotel, clean, safe, good locality, good price, except the internet is not free and there is no kitchen, but those are not big problems, I will recommend this hostel anyway.

The hostel is cheap and well located. Having shower and toilet in different rooms inside the bedroom is nice. The staff were really not helpful at all and there was also no social atmosphere because the only common area was the huge lounge-reception, which does not put people in contact.

Not many choices in Cologne. A nice hostel to stay, but the atmosphere could be better. I'd recommend it anyway

Closer to a hotel than a hostel . Despite being cheap for the actual beds, you are pretty much reaching into your pocket for everything else. Even wifi costs money. Not a whole lot to do but the staff are friendly enough. Probably avoid unless you're in transit or with a couple of friends.

the check in our ( 3PM) was very inconvenient for me, as I arrived at 10AM and left at 6AM. I wanted to rest when i arrived but couldn't.

Totally happy with the hostel! Clean, modern and new. We just stayed for 1 night and did use neither bar nor breakfast but the room and staff were great!
