I do not like the location but Hamburg is a safe city anyway. I think category location should be split in 2: location regarding safety location regarding convenience or attractiveness in the area

This hostel is well located, near the train station and the city center, but it is sooo big it feels more like an hotel. Also, nothing is inculded in the price of the bed. I had some problems with my room key, My access card to my room didn't work 3 times on 4 days, so I had to go to the reception. The staff was helpful but it was still annoying.

The staff is not friendly, not helpfull, answer our questions too quick and not completely. The hostel is in a strange place, in front of an avenue. The room is clean and toilets as well, but i wouldn't reccomend this place to anyone.

This hostel was very clean, and the in-room facilities were exceptional. I was in an ensuite 4-bed room and was very impressed by the bathroom, everything had been thought of! Shower and hand gel, hair dryer, separate toilet and shower, heated tower rack, inbuilt rubbish bins, tissues, and plastic cups for water. The staff were very efficient, even if they may have sacrificed being welcoming for being businesslike. My only gripe would be the lack of kitchen facilities.

Beautiful Hostel, we spent a day in there and the room was OK. Good position for travellers.

The hostel was excellent and at a good price. The breakfast was fine, but the freshly baked bread was consumed so fast that I could not get it. I probably came a t peak hour.

no free wifi and the facitlies are soso. location is fine

The staff asked us whether we needed some bed cover etc. Of course, we needed it, so we took that, and she charged for it. But when we came to the room, we found that there were already the same set provided in the bed! I feel angry and innocent.

really not a great place. I'd rather pay some euros more, and stay in a hostel where the staff is friendly, which isn't that huge and crowded with german school classes, where I might get to know some nice folks.

Bathrooms were really good! Breakfast was really busy and there were not enough cutlery, and some food ran out.

THE A&O HOSTEL HAMBURG HAUPTBANHOF IS A VERY GOOD OPTION BECAUSE IS VERY CLOSE THE MAIN STATION HAUPTBANHOF AND 5 MINUTES WALK FROM STREISSTASSE STATION. THE CENTER IS ALSO EASY TO REACH.

Had a problem in the bathroom. There was a leak in the bathroom upstairs and it was flowing into our room. However, the staff quickly changed us into another room.

The hostel is quite nice and well located. It was also very cheap, but absolutely nothing was included in the price and every extra was instead quite expensive.

I stayed in a single room and i didn't have any problem in this hotel. I can stay again if i go to Hamburg It is 450 meters away from Hauptbanhof and internet costs 5 Euros for one day and 8 Euros for one week.

Says hostel, but pretty much cheap hotel with dorm experience. Good shower, the room I had (4 mixed) had no private locker, have to pay €1 euro per hour for wifi but it was good Internet, no linen provided and it is €3 to hire. The fact that there was no linen was never mentioned by the staff which I thought was not their duty to say, but it is so unusual for a hostel to not provide this service that they should mention it at least. In my room body soap and hand wash and towel included.

my stay was enjoyable. the hostel was everything I expected it to be. good location for those wanting to stay close to the city without paying high prices. directors to the hostel was slightly confusing when I first arrived in Hamburg, but once I located the hostel the staff provided me with a map that should an easy route to the HBF, which made it very easy to navigate anywhere in the city from then on out. overall good place to stay.

They make you pay for everything apart from the bed rate. So in the end is not cheap at all. Too big hostel, doesnt has a good place to see other people and meet them.

Excellent hostel! I will definitely stay here again when I return to Hamburg!
