not good location, noisy not good hostel not cheap very very far from main station
This is basically a chain hostel without much more to offer. It's clean, comfortable and cheap (for the city). It doesn't have any atmosphere though, you have to pay go the bed linen (like in most of Germany) and the wi if is free at reception, but will cost you in your room. Overall good, but not if your a single traveller looking to meet people.
The hostel was ok. The only thing I did not like was that in my room the shower was clogged and when I took a shower the water was not flowing. I found that quite disgusting.
It has clean beds and is close to the train station and a short walk to the old town, so it got the job done, but in terms of facilities, this place has the smallest and worst equipped guest kitchen I have ever seen at a hostel, and the atmosphere and staff aren't particular welcoming.
Quite close to hautbahnhof station, bathrooms were clean but small, good breakfast, wifi only worked in one tiny spot for me, staff had zero suggestions for maps/things to do. They simply pointed me to the information centre (which was very helpful).
Really good value for money. Friendly people. A good place to stay.

Great hostel! They have a good lounging area down stairs and have a bar upstairs. Rooms were clean and staff were helpful. And can't beat the location ! I'd definitely go back !
Excellent place to have a good night sleep
Clean, friendly and helpful staff, good left-luggage facilities
As a young solo female I was forced to sleep alone in a room with a middle aged man. Felt extremely uncomfortable, unable to sleep. The next day I complained, requested to be moved to a female dorm or a room with at least one other female. Staff unwilling to do anything, I would have left but everywhere else in town booked out. That night I had to share with three middle aged men. Happy to sleep in co-ed dorms obviously but usually in the understanding that I would not be the only young female.
Rooms and bathroom very clean. Location great. But Rooms need lockers, good kitchen would be nice. It is a hotel with big open areas on ground floor, maybe not the easiest place to force a conversation. Price jump is huge for a Monday, I'd stay again but move out if there was a price jump... wasn't motivated enough this time round.
Positive: Since I only needed it for one night as I had a flight the next morning, it was sufficient. It was very close to the train station and only a short 10min walk away. Negative: They didn't offer me sheets, if they had, I would have had to pay extra. I was out of cash and had to use my credit card to pay the 15 Euros balance...plus 2.95 for the privilege. That's 20%. Not cool! The wifi only works in the lobby, not in the rooms. Anyone from the street can walk into the lift. ???
A very enjoyable stay. Location excellent, staff very friendly. Bedsheets and towels not included, can't still understand this policy. Overall, a very nice hostel.
Staff is very nice and helpful. Location close to main station, public transportation, tourist information and the delightful old town .makes this a very convenient hostel. Immediate surroundings are typical for a large city with traffic and some construction, but the proximity to the old town makes up for that. Exellent information about the town and museums are available at the tourist information center nearby. Research museum cards and weekly tickets and go explore from this useful base.
Great location, average hostel. Staff can be very abrubt and unhelpful, room was clean and beds were ok. Pretty good if you only stay one night.
When we arrived our room wasn't clean because of a mistake. As the hostel was full, they could'nt change the room. The receptionist was very upset and told us that was not her job to clean the room so 2 choices for us : find an other hostel or just change the linens and cleaning the room by ourselves!!!
I would not recommend this hostel to anybody that is wanting to have fun, or meet anybody, there is absolutely no atmosphere, and make sure you book sheets, or bring your own, because to my understanding, they won't give you any if you request it there. Also, we spent about 4 hours sitting around thinking that Nuremberg was a run down, construction site, so make sure you do some exploring, because once you walk a little further than the hostel, the town is quite beautiful.
