I have travelled many countries/cities and in a very very few I had to pay for linen bed, but this hostel charged more than 3 euros for one night, when my booking was 10 euros (30% additional to have linen bed/sheets that is free or included in other hostels). The receptionist do not give a map of the city and do not explain what to see. Any other hostels I was in Germany (4)they did provide maps and explain what to see. No wifi in the room, only if you pay extra, outrageous!!!!!!!!
The security is deficient. The only security between a guest and the man on the street is your room door. No secure access for the doors to the lift or the common corridor. And it's not like you have to walk thru reception to get to the lift/stairs that access the rooms. You have to pay for sheets, which I personally do not agree with. But I was aware of the policy before booking.

Excellent location, but meh for anything else. Lobby-based free wifi doesn't work at all; and if you have any complaints, you'll be advices to purchase paid wifi service. No drawers in private double room, with a notice stating that the room is not a safe place for you to store your valuables. Some staff do not bother to answer your questions, too pre-occupied by their own stuffs, luckily though one of them was a great help to our journey plan.
This hostel is nice if you are just looking for a nice place to sleep. Individual travelers might have problems meeting people here. The bar was really quiet on a Saturday night. It is less than 5 minutes from the station, has very clean and modern showers and bathrooms.
Pros: It was very clean, and very close from the main train station and bus station. All the staff was so nice. Also it was good that i could use free wifi at the lobby. Cons: Breakfast is not included. There is no kitchen or community room. No free wifi in the room. You have to pay additionally for the bed linen.
couldnt use wifi with some problem so uncomfortable staff didnt help
The staff is friendly and the hostel is close to pretty much everything. Rooms are good. They are super persistent about 10 PM quiet time though, which sucked a little. Still worth a stay though since the bar never closes.
This is a good place to sleep over or if you're staying in a group, but not for having fun or meeting new people. You have to pay for internet, slow connection. You have to pay for parking place (7 euro/day) but we found free parking place just few streets away (3 min walking). Staff is good, they will help you if you ask them.
Nice clean place. advertised happy hour cocktails but then didn't even make cocktails. rooftop bar never opened once just after new years
Nice hostel close to the station. Wifi a bit poor and no kitchen but everything clean and staff friendly
nice staff! Just like an hotel! with a nice lobby where people enjoy their wifi connection there.
Excellent location by the main train station and city center, but the street is very noisy all night if the window is open. Staff were very helpful. Linens not included. Rooms cleaned daily. Breakfast is not included but is worth paying for.
For a short city trip to Nürnberg A&O is perfect - it is near to the old town and train station, it is clean, rooms are spacious and staff is friendly. Some small things "tried" to spoil our stay there - the sky bar was closed although it was advertised all over the hostel; and then in the morning (we were supposed to leave at 10) the cleaning lady started knocking on the door one hour earlier. After explaining we'll leave on time a man came knocking 3 minutes later to remind us we have to go...
not good location, noisy not good hostel not cheap very very far from main station
This is basically a chain hostel without much more to offer. It's clean, comfortable and cheap (for the city). It doesn't have any atmosphere though, you have to pay go the bed linen (like in most of Germany) and the wi if is free at reception, but will cost you in your room. Overall good, but not if your a single traveller looking to meet people.
