The WiFi is only available in the lounge and not the rooms which is very bad. The hostel is very far from the main train station and opposite to the old city which means you will have to walk a lot. The staff during the morning was very welcoming and in the evening was very rude! As if he didn't want us to be there!

We had a great time, good location, very kind staff. I would recommend it.

Check-in was slow and somewhat archaic (filling in form). Room was ok, but dirty, with hair everywhere. One of the 'clean' sheet we took to make our bed had a stain on it (looked like blood). Location was good, close to public transport. Parking was good and not expensive compared to other parking housew in Vienna.

This place is huge. Kind of takes away from any personality. It gets mainly big tour groups of young students who are very loud.

The location is not so great, as it is not so close to metro station. If you are carrying many luggages as I was, it may be a problem, if not, it's a ten minutes walking. The room and bathroom were clean, but it wasn't possible to use WiFi in the dorm, which was really awful They should improve this. I was on the 4th floor. At the reception, Michela is the best, he speaks different languages and he is very attentive and nice.

It was average

It was more like a hotel. Waited patiently until 1400 only to be cut in line 15 mins prior to a large group of travelers from the Middle East. There never seemed to be a line just rude customers pushing to the front. No wifi in the room, half the time the wifi didn't work even in the common room. Too many people connecting sitting around in the lobby. The only advantage was the four beds in the room with an attached bathroom. Happy with my roommates tho and the bartender downstairs was lovely

It was really noisy and so many people in the lobby, there is no wifi in each room, it is not that clean the bath

Staff on arrival we far from welcoming, everything seemed to be a hassle. First room we were put in the duvet and mattress were wet on one of the beds. The place is ok for the money but there are better places. Cheap for Vienna.

Good facilities and very clean, but run like a hotel and totally soulless. Staff are helpful and professional but not exactly friendly, everyone staying there looked bored.

Very bad barkeeper.no bars around really a family hostel. Potential but run tge bar better. It even was closed on friday

It wasn't bad... There just wasn't anything actually good about it... I'm not complaining, no problems or anything, just nothing worth mentioning.

the staff is very nice, and the room is clean. a little far from Metro station, but it is ok.

More of a hotel than a hostel, really. Bar in basement was nice, the bartender was wonderful. Rooms were clean. Biggest complaint was lack of AC, but I was there during a major heat wave so that was actually a problem - probably not a big deal most of the time.

Awesome staff. The tour is amazing. The atmosphere is so good. Stay here.

Children under 6 years old are not allowed in this hostel (like dogs :-( and we learn that when we arrived. The boss of the hostel was not very happy to see us arriving with our child aged 3 years. Finally she accept us but we needed to pay a supplement of 15 euros and to sign a paper saying that we are 3 in a room for 2 people... Atmosphere was very strict and not so friendly. Rooms are clean but there was not aircooling and no fridge The towncenter is very far from the hostel.

good place to stay

Easy to find, bit of a hike from tram/sub station. Helpful staff, clean premisses. The place is more like a hotel and there were lots of young travelers during my stay, kids groups. Not really for meeting people, common area more like hotel lobby. But it´s cheap and the rooms are spacious, the beds and shower really good. Lockers. Free shower gel. Supermarkets, shops nearby. You have to pay for breakfast, even just coffee. Hot water was free, but only avail for during breakfast.

no kitchen which was a pain in the arse. lack of atmosphere but the hostel itself was really nice
