The building is pretty destroyed. The appartments are renovated, but the separation in between rooms is really thin and u can hear everything. Was a bit har to sleep.

Wifi doesn't working at all, only on reception. We didin't got towels, which are included in price. Cats walking in rooms, ok I love animals but that's not health...Hostel doesn't accept credit cards, come on this 21st century!

Really impressed by A1 at first looks we thought it would be a dump but inside it was clean, bright, welcoming, comfortable and safe. The owner was very bubbly, happy and helpful and in the reception most the time. The kitchen was basic but had everything you needed to cook something up. Location was fantastic just behind the main "strip", beds were very comfy and the room was spacious. Shower was always hot and powerful.

Facilities were very poor (the bathroom!) and rooms not well conceived (door windows between the rooms: you have noise and light from them). Staff was really kind and ready to help you.

Went for the rating for this hostel, which mis-lead us, i would rather sleep on a bench beside road then here. NOT recommended! Door dont lock, very dirty, no wi-fi in rooms, general atmosphere shady...

I had a good time staying in this hostel. The staff was helpful and the bathroom was kept clean all the time. There's a shared kitchen for those who want to cook. It's near the old town where most of the tourist attractions are located. Highly recommended!

The room was quite dirty when I arrived; there was a lot of dried pasta on the sofa bed, and it seemed like the floor hadn't been cleaned in quite a while. Although it is a communal building, and I understand it is out of the hostel's sole control, the internal door downstairs was often wide open. It meant that anyone could walk up to the front door of the apartment.

A nice hostel idea- rather like an apartment and not the typical hostel type. The IKEA furniture makes you feel comfortable in some way- as it is something many people are used to have in their homes. At the time we were there the hostel was not too busy, which was very comfortable- fully booked it might get a little crowded as an apartment is shared between privates and mixed dorms. Oh, and fun with Oscar the cat being around.

actually it is not a hostel in the traditional sense...it is an apartment used as a hostel. What I considered very poor is the lack of facilities in the room: there is no locker for your things, no nighttable or anything where you can put a book, and no light at the bed for not disturbing the others in case you want to read, write or...whatever

Great place to stay, location was good, balconies were great, but the bed was not comfortable and the bed sheets and cover smelled very bad.

The guy at the reception desk was friendly and helpful, the cat is nice and very playful, the room was super-clean and cosy, the location is central, and with the directions provided it was quite easy to find.

The hostel has great location.Just 2min to public transport and 5min to the centre. It has nice, big and clean rooms. on the other hand, the staff doesnt look how people are cleaning the facilities after themselves and they can be rally dirty at the end of the day. The kitchen has poor equipment and nobody is there to make sure that there is silence in the night. So it can be loudy at night.

Really helpful staff, nice location in the city center. It's not one of those modern redecorated hostel but it is quite nice and during New Year Eve period it was dirt cheap! Good value for money. I recommend.
