This is not a hostel, it\'s a hotel. Or a dorm room. no common space to meet people; we rented a cheap room so we could go to oktoberfest as it\'s only an hour from Munich. Great price for just a place to sleep, but count on making your own fun. The guy who works the front desk is very nice, though hard to get a hold of.

Manager was helpful but not what I would call friendly. Spotlessly clean room, Kitchen, bathroom. Washing machine was a great addition as not all hostels have one. Location was perfect for seeing National Socialist buildings but not close to old city.

Can't find a problem with this. Nice and tidy and easy to find by car. Also near the train station Langwasser Nord

it's nearer than 500m from the subway station... very noisy hostel, lots of crummy people that make fuss in the evening while they are watching tv...

A1 is place to stay over night or few. Nothing more, nothing less. Definitely clean even though the bath/restroom is shared. Rooms are spacious though equipped very simply. A1 has nothing in common with typical Hostels and isn't a place to spend an evening. A1 is quite a distant from city centre though well connected by subway. Staff, if you are lucky enough to find one, is very friendly but doesn't speak English. You better arrange a meeting prior to your arrival to check-in smoothly.

The reception man had locked us out and said he thought we had failed to show, despite on the booking saying we would be there around 11pm (we were flying from Scotland) ... we arrived at approx 11.20pm and made to feel like outcasts.

This is definitely a place thats no where near anything. It is really close to a S.Bahn station though. No cookware in the kitchen though.. odd. Also the staff dones't speak english. But if you are looking for a nice night in a private room away from the city center this is a good choice!

I don't consider it to be a very safe hostel since there where several attempts( missunderstanding) on entering into our room without knocking first
