AAE Annex Hotel Barcelona Reviews

The room was quite small, but had enough space for two girls staying for 3 nights. The bathroom was really clean. However, the ac was far to loud and you could always hear when the person in the neighbor room was in the bathroom, and I waked up every night several times by the noise. A very big point was: there was no sign on the door that the check in would be on the other side of the street and in addition the hotel had a different name. Thus, we were walking the street up and down for ever!!!

We already knew that for this hostel we had to check in at the Rey hotel across the street. But the surprise was that the hotel AAE Annex at 8-10 Jaime 1 just didn't excist anymore..! Eventually we got a room at the Rey hotel (no extra costs), I don't know if this was planned or if we were just lucky to get a room at the Rey.. (so my ratings above are for the Rey hotel, not the AAE Annex)

I searched for hotel. There wasn't aae annex hotel... I called to the hotel.. But it was wrong number.. So i asked every hotel on that street. One of them suggested me to go to jaime don rey I. When i asked there , they said, that i booked at there..... It was really weird. There was a bath without Cork, tv without remote controll, and matress was so bad. Location was really awesome ,but too loud. clean and safety, good location ..but sleeping is also important for the next day!

El recepcionista era un hombre descortés. La habitación era muy descuidado y ruidoso. Si quieras dormir no escoges este hotel. No vale lo que cuesta.

I love this place. Between Bari Gothic and La Ribeira is the perfect location for having fun. Only drawback is noise at night, and during demonstrations. I solve it by bringing earpluggs. I will always use this place when in Barca.
