This is a motel, not a hostel, hence my rating it low for facilities. It's a perfectly fine motel a few stops on the Max outside town. Was glad it popped up on the website though as there was no available hostels.

It's a motel, not a hostel, so it really has no meet and greet atmosphere. It has a huge Tarmac car park, which really makes the place look and feel crumby. However public transport to the city was excellent so travel in was a breeze, especially so as Portland has such a great one day anywhere fare. Also the rooms were fine.

Reasonable budget motel. Wifi pretty terrible when it was busy.

Creepy staff members who weren't familiar with the area, transit was a fair walk away, and the didn't have our booking when we arrived. Thankfully i had printed out a confirmation and the had a room and honored the price.

Not sure why this is offered as a hostel as it is a cheap motel. Had to beg for the beds to be made and for enough towels for our group.

I thought this place was unbelievable value for the money. I couldn't find any hotels in Portland under $100 and this place was only $54 and I had my own queen sized comfortable bed with a large private bathroom and cable TV. It was close to the max (Portland's subway station). True it is not a fancy place by any means, it is a cheap motel. The room smelled like smoke even after being there a few days and the bedsheets smelled a bit like bleach. But for the price you really can't beat it.

Not very clean, sheets smelled like bleach and were very old.

Brilliant value for money, we had no problems staying here. Got a basic room for one night, you get what you pay for.
