A very nice place. Helpful staff, good kitchen facilities and nice outdoor facilities. Of course, it is not situated in the middle of everything, when you don't pay more, but you can easily walk to the Garden District and the French Quarter. And if you don't feel like walking, it is very close to public transportation.

This hostel was really nice...the owners are great and it was a very comfy place to stay. The location isn't perfect, but less than a $10 cab ride takes you to the French quarter. Like all hostels, it gets a little noisy early in the morning, try not to get rooms that are near any doors. Overall, Im very pleased with the stay!

This hostel is in a great location, just a short walk to Walmart, the Lafayette cemetery and the Street Car. Great Kitchen facilities and outdoor area. The staff were fantastic especially Denver and Wes. Wes took a group of us on a great tour of the French Quarter, giving us a taste of jazz, the history of New Orleans and Bourbon Street. They were both extremely helpful around the hostel as well and were happy to go beyond their duties to make sure my stay was great. Highly recommend!

Loved it! I stayed a week and I couldn't have asked for a better place. The managers and incoming managers were wonderful, giving me suggestions on places to go and things to do. The location is perfect with just a short walk or trolly ride to the tourist areas - oh and the food, to die for! You are guaranteed to meet great people, see New Orleans and overall have a blast. Thank you for making my visit great!

Booked a six bed dorm and was put into a room which had been turned into an eight bed mixed dorm but was originally a six! This hostel has compromised on the overall quality by seeming to cram more and more people into the rooms. Doors could be heard slamming all night. The conversions they have done are obviously not well thought through because all these so called Walls are made of thin boards.

This was a great hostel! I was very happy with everything while we were there. The room was perfect and the pancakes were delicious! And any time we needed help or advice, the staff were super friendly and helpful! The shower drain was clogged, which was the only negative thing from my 5 day stay!

It was a pleasant stay, charming feel and social atmosphere. We could hop on the streetcar to get to the French Quarter when we wanted. We just wish the shuttle would run a little earlier because we couldn't take it to catch our bus at 7:50 a.m., but we are understanding of staff relaxation hours!
