Staff were rude and location isn't the best. Breakfast was good however staff are watching over you all the time. Its not a hostel - just a hotel that has bunk beds, not really a chance to meet people. Also you're charged $4 a night for linen apparently to prevent bedbugs?! Surely linen should be included in the price you pay per night to stay! We moved to the H.I - much better!!

The location of this hostel is confusing, it appears that you go in the side door of a restaurant and there was construction going on. It all just feels very much like a hotel. THere also didnt appear to be anywhere to make your own food. If you want a proper hosteling experience I would stay elsewhere. The showers were amazing though

I stayed for four night, two of which the heater either the heaters wasn't working properly or they weren't working at all and it was a bit chilly in the room.

Very nice hostel near the city center. No parking spots available without paying, but public transport is just around the corner. Rooms are clean but not too big.

Right across the street from Giordano's Pizza and the Blue line which goes right to O'Hare!

The creaky now carpeted staircase up to the second and third floors is a good thing, a bit of the character that remains after the renovation of this building. If the rooms could talk, they would have a lot of interesting stories to tell of the rooms' residents 20 and 30 years ago. Bathrooms are clean, and my 8-bed room was spacious.

A little dull around the place, didn't see much of other people, but the neighborhood was an unexpected surprise with great restaurants and a few other places that were open until late, long after downtown had shut down completely,

Overall not a bad place, however the staff at breakfast is something to behold ! Although it's complimentary, manners cost nothing !

The Hostel is good when you wanna stay their just to sleep. Right in front of the hostel is a busstop- with that bus you can come around everywhere in downtown- sometimes it takes may 30 minutes because of the traffic. The stuff helps all the time with problems or questions.

Although there was a embarrassing moment when I checked in because the tax was not listed on my on-line reservation receipt, the explaination was clear and the staff were pretty nice. The shared women-room on the 3rd floor was what I like most. It's clean and furnished very well.
