It's a great location and I stay here every time I come to Seattle. Six blocks from the Market, 2-3 blocks from good restaurants; easy access to light rail and buses. Always clean and the staff is great, particularly James and Maria. Just be aware that it's a hotel, not a backpacker's hangout. But, speaking as an old dude, it's a great place to unwind, wash your clothes, enjoy the shower and the high-speed internet in the room, and just relax.

This hotel was much nicer than I expected it to be, compared to other cheap hotels in which I have stayed. The front desk staff was also very helpful and friendly.

Great location. Walking distance to most places. Clean rooms and cleaner lady always thorough. Annoyed that hostelworld stated total payed but on check out taxes made it almost $100 more!!!!

Nice hotel, reasonably priced & super friendly staff. The only issue I have is that they wouldn't honor the 10% deposit I made through Hostelworld. What's that about?!?!?

The "hostel" aka a hotel was definitely a good place to stay. Excellent location right downtown. I would not book through Hostelworld again because the money they claim is a deposit towards your room is not a deposit, it is a booking fee. When I got to the hotel they said "Oh everyone get's angry about this, here is a 1-800 number you can call" blah blah blah. Fact is, I booked 4 rooms and paid 40 dollars towards a deposit, but never got credited when I arrived.

As a couple this was perfect for us as it's a fantastic downtown location, at a competitive price.

There was a problem with the pipes which meant the toilet was blocked when we returned to the bedroom one night. This happen is several bathrooms in our floor. After asking for someone to solve the problem we were given a toilet plunger and told to use it ourselves as there was no one from maintenace until the following morning. We were eventualy given a new bedroom with a working toilet.

Not a hostel - rather a budget hotel that is a lot nicer than the price would suggest. Very helpful staff (Maria especially), nice queen room, comfy bed and the cocktails at the bar are really good and cheap! Highly recommended!!!

The balance owing for my reservation with Hostelworld did not match the amount charged to me by AAE Hostel Seattle 6th Avenue in Seattle. Furthermore,I purchased a $1.00 Cancellation Policy provided by Hostelworld. When I attempted to cancel/revise arrival date before the 24 hour notice requirement, I was told I couldn't by AAE Hostel because I didn't book it with them. I found it confusing that I booked with Hostelworld & had to later deal with AAE Hostels. Very disappointing won't use again.

This is a budget hotel, not a hostel. But for the price you pay it is awesome!

A gem. This hotel is far nicer than its 1950s-era appearance would lead you to believe. The staff were great, the rooms were comfortable, and the location and price were unbeatable. A definite win. Would stay here again ... and did!

Decent for the price and location. Better room than you'll probably get for a motel room of similar size which is to say that this place is a motel and not a hostel strictly speaking. Location is pretty good too. Good place to use a base for exploring Seattle.

The hostel is really really good. Perfect location in Downtown, near from everything. Comfortable, clean. Everything is perfect. If I come back to Seattle I'll stay there again, sure. I recomend.

Motel style, only 5 stories high. Old carpet on the floor, needs replacement, old windows, dirty (inside and outside), some widows don't open (latch is broken). Air conditioners are VERY old and dirty, extremely noisy. Horrendous smell on the 5th floor (were we stayed), either coming from toilets or elsewhere. On a good side, bathrooms are clean (sink, toilet, etc.).

Great location. Will be back again. Only suggestion is to speed up wifi. It was very slow and often didn't even work.
