On top of being in an ideal location and very well-priced, it was falsely advertised- but in a good way! The 6th Avenue Inn (it is NOT called AAE Hostel) is advertised as a hostel on hostelworld.com but is in no way a hostel. It is a clean, if a little rundown, hotel with great staff and amenities.

Aside from having to replace my room key several times because it would simply stop working, my stay was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful.

Nice people at the reception, free internet and clean rooms. Very close to downtown.

We found bed bugs in our room. The put us in another room, and we got to wash our clothes for free the next day, but still a really nasty experience... Not staying there again.

It was a hotel and not a hostel. But with hostel prices. So very nice in deed! But there was no possibility to cook except for a microwave in the room.

This was an EXCELLENT find! My girlfriend and I were participating in the local Sakura-con Convention taking place at the Washington State Convention center, and this hostel was only a few short blocks away. With the great price and accommodations, it was a steal! We'll definitely stay here again.

This hotel was excellent, for the same price as staying at the HI hostel we got so much more for our money! Very clean, secure and well located. Would definitely recommend staying here for a nice and affordable stay.

It is basically a hotel which is awesome BUT the name of the building is The 6th Avenue Inn NOT AAE Hostel... We wondered around for a while until going in to this building to ask where AAE was and the women at the from desk answered our question before we even asked it!

This place was awesome! We had a private room with an ensuite. It was clean & had everything we needed including our own fridge & coffee maker (with condiments supplied). The location is perfect for all attractions too! The staff on reception were so helpful too even printing out maps & bus numbers for us. I would def get the city pass when visiting Seattle. This place is not a hostel, but a hotel so if you are looking for that party atmosphere this is not the place.

Great little gem in the heart of a shoppers paradise. If you are on a shopping trip and want to spend little money on accommodations then 6th Ave Inn is your place. The hotel is situated in a central location near great shopping, and the Hill for all you gay folks. My one complaint was the water temperature. Other than that I had no problems. The staff and restaurant employees were helpful and friendly. If you are a military member you get a free breakfast which is a plus.

Actually is not a hostel, but an inn. We booked a room with separated beds for 8 and received 2 rooms with two queen beds each. Excellent price! Do recommend to those who travel in couples

It's a great location and I stay here every time I come to Seattle. Six blocks from the Market, 2-3 blocks from good restaurants; easy access to light rail and buses. Always clean and the staff is great, particularly James and Maria. Just be aware that it's a hotel, not a backpacker's hangout. But, speaking as an old dude, it's a great place to unwind, wash your clothes, enjoy the shower and the high-speed internet in the room, and just relax.

This hotel was much nicer than I expected it to be, compared to other cheap hotels in which I have stayed. The front desk staff was also very helpful and friendly.

Great location. Walking distance to most places. Clean rooms and cleaner lady always thorough. Annoyed that hostelworld stated total payed but on check out taxes made it almost $100 more!!!!
