* Flat screen TVs in most rooms, free wireless internet, state of the art kitchen, coin laundry, fireplace lounge, super friendly staff, !! Forget the car, you won't need it! If you do bring the car, we have a parking garage behind the building that cost between 15 and 20 a day.
Use the massive 2 story health spa, with sauna, stairmaster, bikes, jacuzzi, free weights for only $5.00 a day.
Dine in our restaurant and get cheap eats, or cook in the kitchen and enjoy any of our indoor or outdoor dining rooms!! Values for the budget traveler are built in with the AAE San Diego Hostel!

Grand Central Café located on site & open daily from 7am-2pm. We are located adjacent and connect to the YMCA and therefore guests can avail of their facilities also. You can have a daily pass to the local gym at just $5.00 USD a day.

When I arrived Teressa said the deposit I paid upon booking was a fee to hostelworld and charged me the full rate + taxes. I had the agreement printed but she & the manager the next day refused to honor it. They said they have this problem often & "don't know why the website says that." Hostelworld fails to mention the $30/day fee for their "convenient" parking. Between the slamming doors, people arguing, trains and the crossing signal for the train, I literally got 1-2 hours of sleep here.
