A lick of paint would not go amiss and find a way to silence lift doors. Room 307 was so small 6 x 18 feet, thats a big cupboard to me.

Arrived at AAE Rey Don Jaime on 21st of April for 3 nights. Hotel was fine, although bedrooms weren't quite what they looked like on the website. Before leaving home I checked hostelworld.com to see what the facilities were like. According to the website rooms had a hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. When I asked about it I was told there was no such thing and never had been and was asked to show a piece of paper stating the facilities, which I did not have. Was not impressed.

The location of AAE Rey Don Jaime is excellent. It is situated in the heart of Gotic district and 'Jaume 1' undeground station is two minutes walk. The price is also quite good. But the room was not very clean (there were things of previous travellers in the room). Also Wi-Fi connection was without access to the Internet.

VERY NICE HOSTEL, VERY GOOD LOCATION, I WILL BACK THERE FOR SURE!!!!!

I arrived at 11am and was told to return at 3pm when my room would be ready. When I returned at 3pm I was told the room was not ready and I should not have expeted it to be. After waiting half an hour the room was ready. The room was pretty standard but comfortable. When going to bed the noise from outside was very loud. There were people drinking less than 5 metres away on the other side of the road in flats and this went on till gone 5am. No sleep at this hotel!
