Nice place to stay. But a bit far from downtown. We had a good time there.

Staff were very friendly. The place is a little old, but great value for money. It's pretty cramped, and we were lucky to have a room all to our own group that we could lock. All in all, it's a solid place to stay.

The staff in the hostel was friendly and helpful. The location of the hostel good as well. But the hostel itselfs has no character or atmosphere. The value for the money was poor for my opinion, since the room was simple, the breakfast just included pancakes and there wasn't even soap in the bathrooms!

The good? Make your own pancake breakfast and hot coffee. Nice rooftop sitting area. 15 minute walk to beach. Nice and helpful staff. Free close parking. Cool house. Provided locks and lockers. The bad? Tiny common room with limited seating. No soap in bathroom. SUPER creaky bedframes. Terribly uncomfortable mattress. Local area a bit shady at night. No towels for rent. $38/night after taxes/fees. Probably wouldn't stay there again considering what you get for the money.
