Had a very pleasant stay! A very cosy hostel that is impeccably clean and comfortable (has aircon!). Staff is friendly and helpful. The only possibility for improvement is if they would reply the emails. Highly recommend!!!!

the single room is extremely small and there is no window but just a ventilation hole.

I booked this B&B because of its high rating&reviews. Unfortunately it's not true and the pictures shown on website are no longer the actual look now! The house is in general very crowded, space's divided for as much room as possible, not very cozy. Bath&shower were horrible, corners and walls were covered with grease and mould that doesn't seem to be created in 1day by another visitor,it is a question of maintenance. Towels were smelling cigarette even though we got new ones. Not worth the price.

Owner Comment (Hide)

Alberto, the owner of this small hostel, was extremely helpful and had great recommendations on where to eat and must-do activities in Barcelona. The hostel is located a few steps from the placa espanya and about 15 minutes walking from placa catalunya. The kitchen was open for use at all times and a good breakfast was provided (eggs, fruit, coffee, etc). The room I stayed in with my 2 friends was quite small, but the shared bathrooms were cleaned multiple times per day. Great place to stay!

Albert was such a kind host and made us feel really welcome. His doggy, an adorable shar pei, also made us feel really welcome :D He gave us plenty of info on what to do over the course of our stay, we were never short of things to do. Everything was immaculately clean and the clean crisp smell of fresh bed sheets was such a welcome scent upon entering our room after a long journey. Our room was very comfortable however we could have used a little more space. But otherwise a very pleasant stay!

Great value here. Alberto was super nice and helpful. The location was a quick walk away from city sights and the metro station was literally 20 feet away. Place was super quiet and provided more than most places we have stayed. We would no doubt stay here again.

This location was an absolute bull's-eye! Albert is a very, very friendly & helpful staff & makes you feel like home.He has a dog, which is so lovely that we thaugt about to steal it.The location is great, cause it's in the city centre but not to close to the tourists-areas! (You have to walk about 20 min to La Ramblas). There was one other guy with us in the apartment. With him & Albert it felt like a little family. You can always have a nice chat with Albert! We really wanna come back one time.

This place is awesome, The owner makes you feel at home and his dog is awesome too, I love the security system on the main door and on each bedroom door , the main bedroom is big with lots of open space, balcony with a view of some parts of the city from the 7th level and fireplace, the second room with two beds is big enough to have all your things, the third room is very small (just enough space for a bed two night tables, shelves, hanging rack) tight space but comfortable for a good sleep.

This is a lovely appartment and Albert is a very friendly helpful host but does not live in the appartment. .The place is well situated. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathroom and is very secure. It is on a Main Street but is very quiet. Breakfast is self service and consists of cereal toast croissants juice coffee and tea and there are eggs as well . Sometimes there is also fresh fruit. We thought it was good value for such a central location. Would definitely go back next time we go to Barcelona..
