Don't expect a typical American hotel, but it's charm definitley grows on you. For big breakfast eaters, be warned that it is only coffee and some pastries for breakfast. The rooms are loud becuase it's right next to the street, but a fan helps damper the noise. There is a balcony to eat on during the summer which is quite lovely. Some of the rooms don't have air conditioning which makes it hard to stay in them for very long. The staff was incredibly nice. Hostel was in an ok location, quite near subway, receptionist was helpful and friendly and we had spacious rooms and a nice bathroom. BUT probably the worst hostel we stayed in. Very noisy - lots of traffic as bordering a busy road so almost impossible to sleep and very uncomfortable beds! Breakfast was almost non existent and shower was not always hot. Not particularly good value for money and hostel was up several flights of stairs so v inconvenient if carrying luggage.
