The hostel is just one minute walk to the subway station so it is very convenient. Laundry service is affordable. Hot shower is good. Breakfast is plain and below average. AC inside the rooms are good. No wifi on the kitchen. No backpacker atmosphere. Most of the guests are overstaying foreign workers.

Pros: nice ambiance, places to sit inside and outside, average hostel breakfast, semi-private bunk spaces, female only bathroom, enough showers and toilets (not common in Singapore hostels), outlet near every bed, staff very helpful, reasonably near MRT Cons: showers were mostly hot, but not always, stairs to climb to get in, Indian men hanging around, directions for finding it not clear, location not convenient, nearby restaurants expensive, bed NOT comfortable (thin and hard mattress)

This hostel is pretty good for couples on a budget since it has big double beds that you could both sleep in together. You can book tickets for attractions in the hostel too, but double check the closing times. We had a discrepancy about some tickets, but they fixed it! :) I would recommend bringing indoor shower slippers to wear inside the bathrooms the hostel overall since the floors are kind of dirty/dusty despite having a no outdoor shoes inside the hostel policy.

The hostel is located about a 5 minute walk from little India which is a good enough location if you are looking for a hostel at a reasonable price. The dorms are nice with a wristband access to luggage storage, an individual safe and footwear storage. I found one member of staff at this hostel to be friendly and the others to be rude. There seemed to be long term residents at this hostel and did not like the atmosphere. People talked loudly in rooms all night and also left their lights on.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The hotel was clean, welcoming and had a terrific feel to it. Thanks for such a lovely stay!
