The hostel is located in an industrial part of the city where no other people live, nearest shops in 10-12 minutes walk. The area is secluded, badly lighted, and I definitely didn't feel safe returning to the hostel late at night. The inhabitants of the hostel don't assure safety either. Rooms have no lockers. Beds had hair on them when I arrived. The staff doesn't speak English. Four showers for two floors. However, this is the cheapest hostel in Prague, so the expectations must be aligned.

This place is more of a worker's temporary residence rather than a hostel so expectations should be low. I had the chance to sample a few beds in this place and most of them were extremely old and saggy in the middle which made for a unpleasant night's sleep. Also, they only have TWO make and TWO female showers for the entire place. Same with the toilets. The cleaning lady (who oversees most of the operations) is also quite unfriendly and at times just downright rude to guests, and no English.

Quite far from the centre in a dodgy neighbourhood, but very cheap. The room was really nice - no bunk beds and only one roommate. No security lockers. Excellent wifi signal. I think I was the only foreigner staying there at the time. Friendly receptionists, but the cleaning lady kept yelling both at me and other guests.
