We we're really impressed when we walked into our room. For the price we weren't expecting much. The room was decorated in a fun retro theme. Good size room and bathroom. We booked a double and the bed was actually a king. The frames do need to be fixed as the legs are breaking. The restaurant and the ladies at the bar we're great. Location was really good for us. It was about a 15 minute walk, which made the hostel quieter. It was right across the street from the beach

Location is at the end of Chaweng beach so if you are staying here because you are attracted to the beach admits nightlife, then be prepared for long walks. The room we stayed in is not located near the main premises, and it's a nice touch to give DVDs which you can play in your room. Wifi was not available owing to the distance of the premises, and security, while nothing was stolen, could be considered poor given the main entrance to the two rooms was broken. value only for Chaweng.
