The whole hostel stank of wet dog. Ventilation was poor, and no one checked on whether the radiators in the room was working. Ergo, I had wet dog stinking up the room, and no heating when the weather was -2 degrees.

This is one of the best hostels I've stayed at. The woman who owns the place is very friendly and willing to help you with any questions you have about Interlaken. The dorm rooms had clean private bathrooms and lounge chairs, which is usually unheard of in most hostels. The hostel is conveniently located near the city center train station. Unlike the condescending jerks I met at the Balmer hostel, the service and friendliness of the staff at Heidi's is unmatched at any hostel in Interlaken.

The lady at reception was very nice. She arranged our room in the night 1 PM. But the only thing that we did not liked is that her reception smells very badly like routten mouse.
