The hotel was very basic, it's not obvious how you get to it as its not called 'AWA Madrid City Center Hotel' on the buzzer, it has a different name, so that was confusing to begin with. There was confusion with the front desk as if my booking was a surprise, she couldn't speak any English so I had to be on the phone to the manager. The room itself had no bath as advertised, although everything else was basic and fine. It was a dark and rather humorless hotel but was a good nights sleep.
Good cheap hotel in a central location. Clean and quiet.
Stayed for a night as I had to leave early for the train station. Clean, convenient location, free wifi, otherwise fairly characterless. Keep in mind, it's a hotel, not a hostel.
This place was actually not too bad however for a 3 star hotel they had no proper facilities and no breakfast included! Also this place was very hard to find because the hotel is located on a second floor of a apartment building. However overall this place wasn't bad either, they were very clean and staff where kind even if they couldn't speak English very well.
Good location and good value for the money. Loved my room and loved the staff. If you don't want to stay in a hostel, I recommend this hotel.
