We book 2 different dorms for male and female but we end up sharing in 1 dorm.

Location a bit far away from Barcelone center, but its 10min walk to the Park Guell. No lock on room door, u could use a small locker next to reception(deposit), my netbook could not place flat. The door of the apartment was not locked always. Sometimes need to ring the bell to see staff, overall no problem. Nice and clean apartment, kitchen and living room. 3 or 4 bathrm/toilets for all, hot shower no problem. Wifi if great.

The security is appalling in this hostel. You are given a key to the front door for the building and the main door to the hostel is left ajar all the time. I returned many time to find the front door for the building open. There are no locks on the bedroom doors either. Grey and grim (with holes in the ceiling and walls) with a sad air this is a hostel I'll not be recommending to others. Proper welcome and orientation from staff would be helpful. Never knew who was staff and who wasn't!

The hostel is perfect, clean, and the staff is very good. They don't have lockers in each room.
