Tracey is the best! She has so much knowledge about the city. It takes around 15 or 20 minutes to walk to the city center. Other than that, we loved our time here.

The hostel owner was lovely and so helpful and to be honest made our stay there! The facilities are sufficient but fairly basic but we found all the advice really helpful and out of 4 places we stayed (Cork, Dublin, Galway and Wicklow), this was my parents' favourite.

On the one hand, it\'s really close to the train station which is nice if you have luggage. On the other, it\'s a hike and a half from anything else and the neighborhood is fairly sketchy. Great atmosphere, and great staff though. A good choice for most but if you\'re travelling alone and intend to be walking at night you may want to look elsewhere for safety reasons.

We loved this hostel. Therebwas hit water, free wifi, and extremely friendly staff! The location wasn't in the city centre nut it was close and rifght across the street from the train station. We had access to a full kitchen with pots and pans. Great value for your money!

I have previously stayed at this hostel and loved it so much that when I needed a bed for the night it was my first choice. Tracy is a lovely person and makes you feel right at home. The atmosphere around the common area is very relaxed and quiet which I really like. It's right across from the train station and within walking distance to the city centre. I'll definitely stay here again the next time I need a bed in Cork...

Great for backpackers! Three friends and I recently stayed there for two nights and had a really good time. Everything is clean, the showers were hot, it's a very short walk to the city and everything else you need, and Tracy is absolutely wonderful with loads of information about the city and hilarious jokes on the side. The only thing we found odd was that there was no oven (although there is a stove!) but we didn't really mind that part. We made great friends and had an awesome time!

I really enjoyed staying here, mainly because I just needed a cheap place to sleep. The walk to the city centre is not bad at all. The price is right if you are looking for a quiet atmosphere and a place to sleep. There is no breakfast, but there is a kitchen to make meals in. The closest place to eat was about a ten minute walk. The owner was a very friendly local who went out of her way to give you tips on anything you needed or wanted to do.

Aaron House was 1 of 4 hostels I stayed in backp'ing SE Ireland for 1 week. After a long day of bus travel, an hour walking around lost in an unfamiliar city in the dark, we arrived @ the hostel later than the posted check-in hours. Despite this, we were made to feel very welcome and at home by the proprietor. We were the only ones there, so we had the whole place to ourselves. Comfortable bedding, clean accommodations, travel brochures and helpful advice by owner, & an adorable Cocker Spaniel!
