Stayed for 4 nights in a double ensuite room with fan. Good: perfect location in downtown, good breakfast, staff is very helpful, bed is comfortable. Bad: room is very stuffy because the window is looking on the inside space, so there is a lack of fresh air, many of the stuff don't speak good English, the bathroom could be cleaner, sometimes it is noisy during the night because you can here the people at the reception talking, it is too expensive to hire a car for tours through the hotel.

My room was cold, damp, and often without hot water. That said, I had a great time at this hotel because the friendly staff and jovial owner go out of their way to accommodate guests and show them the best Amman has to offer. The location is tough to beat. Right in the middle of downtown within a $3 taxi ride of both bus stations and walking distance from the Roman Theater, Citadel, and Rainbow Road. Also, the free internet is reliable and the free breakfast is pretty good. I do recommend.

Great staff, very helpful. It's has a very reasonable price and worth the money for stays in Amman. It can even be used as a base to travel daily to many touristic sites/towns within Amman (including day trip to Petra by bus, departing 6.30 from Amman, and returning at 5pm from Petra). Connecting to Petra: Petra Gate Hostel (Naser) Connecting to Wadi Rum: www.desertmooncamp.net (Madallah/Wahid)

the hotel itself was ok but i think there are better in the area. however we signed up to a tour through the hotel and i would not recommend this- our driver was constantly trying to rip us off, luckily we had an arab speaker with us and so we avoided it more or less but id advise renting a car so you can actually spend time in the places and not be overcharged for lunches etc its a shame we experienced this is in a country when everyone is so friendly and honest normally.

The room is quite dirty. The toilet and shower is very poor.

The hostel in great location, just minutes from Rome ruins and citadel. The food and shops you can see from the rooms. The only thinks I didn't like was the new Syrian manager, he even didn't know where the hostel was on the map and didn't care to know, explanation I am not from here is ridiculous. The rest of the staff helpful an really nice, even the cab from and to airport perfect. Lovely stay. I would recommend it.
