A very good place to stay while in Amman, the location was excellent and close to all that we wanted to see. the staff were perfect in their knowledge and helpfulness toward us. This made our stay in Amman just that bit better.

The staff is very friendly. They put us bedouin clothes on and did everything to make out stay better. At the payment they forgot out deposit at Hostelword, so watch the bill! Even the cleanness was not so so, it was a pleasant stay.

So grateful to the staff who really helped me out when our rental car was broken into - really lovely staff - hotel ideally placed, hot water, and great value. Will come again. Many thanks, Ashley & Paul

The price of the hostel reflects what you get - our room was small, the beds noisy and the bathroom moldy. But, as we just needed a place to sleep in Amman before going further south, the hostel offered what we needed. Not a luxurious place (one floor up from a mosque/prayer area, so noisy a few times a day), but with a super friendly staff and an allright breakfast. Go here for sleeping, not for chilling in your room or enjoying the facilities.

Able to get in in the middle of the night. Staff is very friendly and helpful, they arrange a lot of tours and can help you book a car etc (which we did and was a succes). There does seem to be a lack of maintenance, as our toilet was clogged, other toilets were clogged aswell and there was a lot of fungus in our bathroom. With more care and some renovation, this hostel would be so much better. Breakfast was nice, you get tea whenever you want, perfect location in old city. Price is good too.

Well located hostel. Nice staff and free breakfast. Toilet could be better.

Great location and lovely, friendly and accommodating staff. The rooms are however somewhat in need of repair and shower curtains. The staff also give great tips on local places for shopping, food etc and are just great in organising anything you need.

Although the hotel was a little difficult to find at first (from the directions provided), I would certainly stay here again. It was well worth the money, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were spacious and I was given a choice between 2. The toilet didn't work at first but the staff was quick to help and offer me another room. The breakfast was delicious and served to me even though I was late. Overall a great place to spend a night. Many thanks!

I stayed at the Abbasi hostel last week and really enjoyed it. The place itself feels like you are at home even though you are away from home and the staff were helpful throughout our stay. They know how to deliver the customer service. The breakfast was standard everyday but better than in many other places I stayed before. Maybe an idea to have something different every day. The room was clean and beds comfy but the bathroom(s) needs the shower curtain as it was difficult to shower without it.

Perfectly fine. Not fantastic, but a decent (very) budget hotel. Found it quite hard to spend time in the communal areas, and there really wasn't much of a social atmosphere at all, but the staff really made this hotel. They were incredible, being kind and helpful and going out of their way to help. You instantly felt at home, and it was a welcome break.

Very friendly staff, central, free tea, rooms are fine and good value as it includes breakfast and dinner. Also free wifi. On the other hand, bathrooms were less than average, hot water takes an age to come through, road noise is awful when trying to sleep and the lobby is a bit smoky.

There were many positives: Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, good location. But there were two main negatives: It was absolutely freezing at night - so had to make sure we wrapped up warm. And we had a badly leaking bathroom which the staff made no effort to either stop or contain, despite us telling them. Had it not been for the leaking bathroom, and if we had gone in summer, then I think we would have no complaints. Overall though, I would recommend.

Very noisy in the dorm and cold without a heater. Staff were helpful and had good wifi.

Location is really perfect, staff can help you with good advice (about travelling, good restaurants, sightseeing), but kind of fail when you need some real help. We had problems with the toilet flush which haven´t been repaired during three days of our stay. In overal I would recommend this hotel, offers good standard for middle east location and the money, but be advised culture is sometimes a bit different than european.

There is a great atmosphere at Abbasi Palace where the staff are very cool and very helpful. It's in a perfect location in the middle of town. It's great as a really cheap place for a brief stay. But the rooms could be better - my room was a bit shabby, chilly and not particularly clean. But I paid so little for it that I can't complain. For a short stay the downsides were more than compensated for by the general vibe of the place.

Hostel is situated in a very good location within walking distance to most sights in Amman. Extremely friendly and welcoming staff - my goodness I've never experienced anything like them in the hostels I've stayed in throughout the world. Staff clearly understand what good customer service is here - WELL DONE!. Only dislike was with the Wi-Fi - extremely unreliable and it was only available in the common room. Hostel rooms would benefit from being renovated and improving Wi-Fi.

I arrived in the middle of the night at 1:30 AM, but were never the less welcomed by 2 very alert staff members offering me a cup of tea.. Next morning I got very usefull directions for my Amman sight seeing. A good breakfast was included in the price. A very homely dining room/living room ais part of the premises. Good value for little money.
