On y issue we had was a glass ceiling light cover falling on my wife\'s head hhen the room door was shut. Presumably a random event and not a regular occurance.

I really liked the location of this hostel. You just step out of it and you are in the city center.

Reception staff very knowledgeable and helpful. Facilities are good and kept clean. Bed was comfortable and clean. I just wanted somewhere to sleep for a night and I was more than happy with the hostel, especialy as it was cheaper than the camp site I had been staying at, and warmer and dryer. Being an older clent for a hostel and it being my first stay I did think I was going to be like a fish out of water. But I was made welcome and chatted easily to my "roommates".

we found the accommodation exactly as described in a great location the bedding was clean the only negative point was that we had a group booking and was not made aware of large deposit needed to be left on a credit card which cause a problem as we didn't have one

I booked a room with a friend and we got confirmation from the staff that we would be in the same room. Upon arrival that was not the case and I had to switch rooms after the first night (check-out at 10:30, check-in only possible in the afternoon) so we could stay together as promised in the first place. Some bedrooms can only be accessed by editing the main complex and entering another building. These rooms seem to be larger but lack Wifi. The lockers in my room were also missing.

This is a fantastic hostel and you couldn't get a better combination of perfect location, price and facilities. The FREE walking tour the hostel offers is brilliant and was a great way to see Dublin, definately the highlight of the trip!

I stayed in a four person room en suite. The room was fine if a bit rundown. The biggest problem was that our bathroom ceiling leaked water the entire time. We reported it to staff but they merely placed a towel on the ground. Hot water in the shower was also inconsistent.

This was my first time staying in a hostel and the staff at Abbey Court made it very pleasant. They were so friendly with everything, whether it was giving directions or me asking dumb questions about the hostel. They made it seem like I was never wasting their time! They also have great facilities, you should definately try the Cinema room out, it is very nice to just relax in there and put a movie in! It is in a great location also, close to everything! Overall, the staff was great!

Absolutely excellent hostel, cannot fault it, except for one thing, that being that there really just are not many Irish staff to be seen apart from the staff at reception. Please can we see more Irish people working in the tourism sector- visitors come here to see Ireland and meet Irish people after all. Apart from that I had an amazing stay- comfy bed, internet access was fantastic, hammock room was a real treat, cinema room, and the kitchen is so spacious. Very clean as well.

Our stay was quite enjoyable. The room was clean. The staff was friendly. The location was great. The mattress on the bed was pretty bad - lots of springs popped through. And we were told there would be Wi-fi in the room, but it was not. Other than those two small things it was perfect.

Nice Hostel, good value for the money, the staff was friendly. The location near centre and temple bar was perfect. Only one really big minus: It was much too loud inside the rooms! If you plan to stay there from saturday to sunday, it's almoust impossible to sleep. People on the street outside and the traffic are very loud!

I thought the hostel was great! I changed the room I was supposed to stay in the day before and I just emailed them and they were so cooperative. The internet was really fast, we could come and go as we pleased, the staff were really friendly and the hammock room was just unreal! I really enjoyed my stay and so did my friends, we're still talking about all the cool we met there! I will most definitely be coming back in the future.
