When I book a hostel I do not expect first-class accommodation, but this place is very poor. No soap and hand towels in the bathrooms, carpets have not been cleaned for ages. Staff cleaning the bedrooms did not even knock at the door before entering; dirty fridge. Cons: far from downtown; kitchen dirty and housekeeping not cleaning it up; noisy neighbourhood; poorly soundproofed apartment; heater in room waking us up when boiling in the morning. Pros: accommodating and friendly staff; large rooms and comfortable beds; free luggage storage; a five-minute walk to the green B light-rail line; lively student neighbourhood filled with restaurants and bars for the going-out type.
