It was a little nicer than your average hostel, it was clean and the staff was friendly, but the hostel is a little over-priced and quite a walk away from the city centre.

Good, quiet location. However, for a 10 bed dorm, £20 per night is way too much. Facilities old, but clean.

Not a fan of hostels that charge outrageous rates for using the internet (£3 per hour). Dorm room pretty cold (despite rest of the building being quite hot) and also noisy (can you not improve the glazing, noisy night). But being the only cheap place to stay in Aberdeen, its still value for money.

Spent a total of 3 nights in this place during my trip to Scotland. Since it\'s the only hostel in town everyone knows it\'s location so it\'s no hassle finding it. It\'s a good 10min walk from down town. Rooms come cheap (20£ for a bed in a 10 bed dorm)and the staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are ok, both in standard and cleanliness. Even though the name says \"youth\" hostel, there is nothing youth about this place. Old house, old guets. All in all nothing but an avarage place.
