Very nice place, frendly staff, lot's of space, great kitchen. Really like the place, it's worth of money. In case that I come back to Aberdeen, this is the place of my stay!

When first arrived i did not like cause it seemed dirty, but ...then i saw what was available. The kitchen has all you may need, there are many lounges (TV, reading, alcoves w/ seats) so you can leave your dorm and be noisy elsewhere. Also, the beds are spaced far apart so it is not cramped in the dorms and they provide space to hang clothes and store your gear away from your bunk. They have washers for clothes free, but the wifi costs 3£/hr. Gender specific bathrooms have generous hot water.

I had seen reviews stating the showers were not great and the rooms were cold, both of which completely untrue! Showers were perfect, and the rooms were lovely and snug and it was snowing while I was here!! Rooms were lovely and spacious, great kitchen facilities, staff were helpful and friendly! Only downside it was quite a walk to the city centre, maybe 15-20 mins, though I dont personally see that as an issue when everything else is so good!

It was an ok place to stay. The kitchen seemed to be the social hub were everyone interacted but in the rooms it was dead silence even if everyone was wide awake. Wasn't too impressed with one of the people I was sharing a room with as both nights I was here he turned up drunk and proceeded to annoy all the guests in the rom. Location wise it was brilliant because It was in a quiet area but walking you would be in the city centre within less than 10 minutes.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Kitchen and dining room facilities good. TV room was cosy and the atmosphere friendly. Beds were comfortable. Toilet and shower facilities good with plenty of hot water. I was disappointed with security being no lockers to keep valuables in. I found some of the rooms cold. There was a lack of sockets to plug computer into. Internet charge was excessive. Having no lift made it difficult to carry luggage up the stairs female dorms being on top floors.

No major problems, and for 2 days it was alright. Living room area with TV and big kitchen with eating area have a nice atmosphere. But several points should be improved: Showers don't get really warm sometimes, beds are noisy when someone moves even just an inch. No free wifi!! 1 pound per 20 minutes.

No free wi-fi, had to pay extra for breakfast, the hostel itself is a decent enough walk away from the city centre. The TV room was nice to relax in and had a fire - which was a nice touch to a cold miserable winter night. Staff were pleasant and it is easy to find if you don't mind a bit of a walk from the city centre. Not really worth what you are paying for considering cheaper and better hostels elsewhere in the country.
