It's a 30min walk from the center but trams are at hand. Other than that, the hosts are awesome and the rooms are very clean so i definetly recommend.

the abhostel was maybe the coolest hostel i've ever been to. it was very cosy and it felt more like i was living in a flat and not like i stayed in a hostel just for 2 nights. Perfect, just THE place to be!

A great hostel: excellent vibe; clean and secure; small and homely; and Bridget is a legend! Would stay there again without hesitation.

We had a fantastic time here. A great little place run extremely well by a very friendly Bridget. Lovely and clean with everything you could want in the kitchen, and a laundromat across the street. Would definitely recommend staying here. It deserves its rating as best hostel in Europe for the past couple of years! Great lockers in the room too.

When you want a relaxed place to stay, this probably is the best place to go in Antwerp! Extremely clean, small, cosy hostel. You'll have to walk 10-15 minutes before you're in the city centre, but it is located close to some nice residential neighbourhoods (like Zurenborg) which allows you to have a more local feeling instead of feeling a tourist.

All in all, staying at this hostel was the best idea we've made. We only got to meet Bridget, the hostess, once, but she made sure we felt at home away from home. The best part was the personal touches - the notes she left to tell you things, or as reminders. Highly Recommended!

Nice hostel and Bridget the owner is lovely. It was smaller than I expected and only 2 rooms one for 6 people mixed and one for a couple. The people were lovely but I was travelling alone and it felt abit quite and I would have liked more people but Its clean and has a kitchen and beer for sale. It'd be ideal for a group who wanted to chill in Antwerp and have there own space.

A fantastic place, thank you Bridget! It was like staying with a friend I'd never met. Relaxed (this is NOT a party hostel!), by far the cleanest hostel I've ever been in, and located in a really great neighbourhood. Perfect!
